5. The limit for text in signatures is 8 single-spaced lines of standard-size or smaller text, if you do not have an image. If you have an image, the limit for text in signatures is 3 single-spaced lines of standard-size or smaller text.
There are so many people with more than that, i was looking around and saw someone with seven lines with a pic!
Am i missing something?

An addendum to that is that we mods have been told not to bother sponsors about their sigs. Also some mods themselves don't follow sig rules and I've stopped bothering them about it (there are different levels of mods.. regular mod, supermod, admin... I'm a supermod or whatever the correct terminology is).
You also need to know that we change a users signature - and 5 minutes later they change it back. Sometimes we catch it again sometimes we don't.

It might seem harsh to hassle people for minor violations, but we have to draw the line somewhere. Each time you let something slide, it's human nature for people to push a little harder.
If we didn't enforce the sig rules, next thing you know we'd have people with 40 lines of text and pics that are 1500x850. Who wants to see all that crap every time someone posts?

Also can be PM'd to change a signature, it isn't being a tattle-tale as pointed out.
