1998 Formula hardtop A4 - Bright Purple Metallic
May 2009 pics... it needs to be washed, so excuse the dirt..
Interior
Engine bay
Loss of garage space is forcing me to part with my 1998 Firebird Formula... This car has been garaged as long as I've owned it, has been very well cared for, and is extremely clean inside and out. It's never been driven in winter conditions, rarely driven in rain since 2003. It was originally sold in the Fort Worth, Texas area and was shipped to Seattle from Benbrook, TX when I bought it.
It's an A4 hardtop, grey cloth interior, non-TCS car. One of 26 Formulas built in this color. It has about 87,000 miles on it.
This car is in EXCELLENT condition. It is not perfect... but it's probably closer to "perfect" condition than you're going to find in the vast majority of 11 year old F-Bodies. It was completely repainted in 2004, and the body shop did a very good job.. it's very difficult to tell where the old paint starts and the new paint begins. The finish has been very well maintained, and is very free of scratches and blemishes. It would not be difficult to use this car as a "show" car.
It runs great... no issues with burning oil or anything. Still runs 12.6-12.7 on the strip, and could probably be made faster with a tune.
I will include a a copy of HP Tuners VCM Suite Professional along with the car. I will also include a set of OEM 98-00 WS6 wheels if you desire them.
I've invested over $25K in this car including the paint job... I've tried hard to use the best parts I could afford... so my loss is your gain.
$9,500 or best offer
I am also willing to put the stock 16" wheels back on the car and drop the price.

By the way, for potential buyers...
I've already sold one car on this site, and here's the feedback from that sale.

I have been on this board since day one back in late 99 or 2000. Since then i have seen alot of people that owned more than one vehicle. Your trio was one of the most unique. I loved the WS6 and now its sad to see the Formula go. Good luck

Yeah, I've already lost my garage space, and the Formula is being stored at a friend's house for the time being. Can't really afford to keep it in a storage space. I haven't driven it much in the last year, either... so it makes more sense to let it go for now and start thinking about a 2010+ Camaro for the future.
