1990 Miata with 2004 LS1
Car is no longer for sale! Too many parts bought for the new chassis.
I'm not 100% on selling the car right now, so please don't low ball me or waste my time.
I just finished up getting the car on the road a couple months ago, and have really enjoyed driving it. I don't want to sell it, but there are priorities in life. Here is a brief list of everything on the car; I'm sure I am leaving out some stuff.
1990 Miata with hardtop- Clean title in my name.
2004 LS1 out of Corvette with 22k miles
Nasty Performance black anodized fuel rails
Aeromotive fuel pressure regualtor
Earls fuel line and fittings -8an feed and -6an return
T56 Tranny supposedly 4k miles since moderately built (take that as you want)
LS7 clutch and flywheel
Wilwood 3/4" clutch master cylinder
Remote clutch bleeder
Boss Frog Subframe and tranny mounting setup.
Energy Suspension urethane bushings on all control arms
V8Roadsters rear upper adjustable control arms
TII differential and stock axles with hubs from MiataRoadster
Hard Dog Ace roll bar
1.8 liter brakes with Hawk pads and stainless lines
Bilstein struts with ebay coilovers
Here is a link to my build thread.
And a link to my first trip to the drag strip.
SpeedHunters Spotlight
The entire engine and body harness has been gone through and all the useless plugs have been removed. The front of the chassis has been stitch welded. Right now the car is spray painted white, so paint was next on the list. I have reduced the price to allow room in someone's budget for paint work. Also, If the asking price is met I am including a second Miata chassis with a clean title as a backup/parts car. Obviously, the parts car would have to be trailored away.
Enough of that. On to the photos!!!
And the parts car. It now has a soft top since the hardtop is on the LS1 Miata.
I am asking 17,500 obo. That includes the spare Miata chassis, spare TII diff, and 2 extra sets of axles.
I am not opposed to trades plus cash, but don't try and push some crap on me.

$17,500?!?!??!!? Wooooow.. about double what i was expecting. Good luck man, its a neat little car but going to be very difficult to sell for that price.
Good luck! Scary little car for sure.

It is actually cheap for what these cars go for with LS motors in them. Considering the fact that you are getting a second chassis and a ton of spare parts... yeah. I'm not going to be sad if it doesn't sell. I will just throw a cam in it and have some more fun!

With this economy, I don't doubt it. I mean I would really need to find someone that is looking to build a car like this, and then they could save some money and time by just buying it. Either way, I am fine.
On the other hand though-
If you think my asking price is too high, look for other LS1 Miata's and see what they are selling for.

If the car doesn't sell, i am going to be getting the spare chassis ready to swap everything over. I have already talked to a body shop about painting it once i get everything cut and welded up. Only thing is, if i go through all that i am just going to okeep the car until i am sick of it. haha

I got a couple PM's about the car, and should have replied to all now. If not, send it again. I was attempting to answer them on my blackberry and may have missed a couple.

I take it all these people who say "It is just a miata" have never been to an autocross, road course, or driven a miata with decent suspension. I went from a built FRC to a 1990 Miata and have never looked back. The only thing the vette could do better was get the ladies or be a show off car.
