I am considering getting rid of my car, if it sells for what I want out of it then so be it, if not, I will either try in the spring or just turbo it for 1000hp mark I've always wanted to hit. Considering buying a house soon and never drive the car or have time to deal with it with my new job. So here we go.

Currently put down 470rwhp (which is pretty impressive given its a boost motor) and has not been to the track.

Bottom line is this car is built for lots of boost/high HP and be completely streetable and reliable. I was planning a turbo setup, either a 88/91 single or twin 70s, an F1 procharger would do nicely as well, I just wanted to go turbo. I have 6.0 exhaust manifolds to go with the car to start a custom turbo setup. Currently the car has AC on it, haven't ripped it off yet for the turbo. The engine, trans and rear have 10k miles on them, the car has 112k. Everything is in excellent shape, the car runs great, just put in new plugs, oil/filter and retuned and it runs smoothly, easily streetable and tagged for over another year.

The car is currently located at my brothers house in his garage under a cover in Newark, DE 19707, only being driven maybe twice a month. He could use the space and I could use the money to pay of debt for a house. But if the car doesn't sell, no big deal, I won't give it away. I know the economy is bad but the car has more then 30k into it not including the car itself. Therefore I will sell it for $14,000. I might be interested in trades, but no other f-bodies unless boosted, I might consider that but its kind of a pointless trade. Vettes, CTS-V, maybe a nice daily drive, possibly a bike (prefer stunt bike or 1000) but cash would work best. I have a clean title in hand, only serious people please and your more then welcome to come look at the car in person, but with the snow storm we just had, this car isn't coming out for awhile with all the salt over the road.

Thanks Mike, hows Alaska treating you? Getting any work done on the TA? Honestly the car doesn't need to go anywhere anytime soon, hopefully spring time so I can buy a house. So if your seriously interested, I'm sure you'll be talking to me or Tony soon anyway. I have a good connection for a Turbo kit as well, I'm still considering keeping it, well see, if the money is there its gone.

If it was a mostly stock 1000 we'd have a trade but I've just never been into race bikes. Tempting just to say I have a turbo busa, but I can't do it. Thanks anyway man, goodluck with your sale.

Thanks Mike. I don't think it will sell until spring, I am really considering keeping it and putting a T88 on it, unless I get the offer I want, so it forces me to boost it! Maybe by that time you'll be back here with a big shot on your TA and we can have another rematch from way back in the day!

 

I'm kind of thinking I'd rather sell the car outright then trade. My whole reason for selling was to pay off debts. If it doesn't sell, I'll just finish the Turbo hopefully this year.
