Price: $7000
Mileage: 89000

I just cannot afford to keep it around any longer, so it has to go. I don’t have the time to drive it that often, and I need the money for other bills. She is a 2002 Seabring Silver Z28, M6 89,xxx miles on the odometer. However, the odometer is not accurate due to the 4:10 gears and not being tuned. The actual mileage is somewhere in the low-mid 70’s. The car has had the gears since about 40,000 when I purchased the car…I am the second owner, located in Winchester Virginia.
There are four issues I feel that I must address, but they are not overwhelming or anything major, just a few cosmetic things.
1- There is a small nic on the edge of the drivers door. A few years back the wind grabbed the door when I opened it and it bumped the concrete thing the vacuum sits on at the car wash. [Door Ding Picture_1] [Door Ding Picture_2] [Door Ding Picture_3]
2- The second is there are some scratches under the front bumper. The driveway where my father used to live had a minor drop from the main road, so the front bumper occasionally scratched the gravel. It is a simple fix and I have never been worried about it because of its location, which is out of sight. [Picture of Under the Front Bumper]
3- The third relates to the finish on the drivers side quarter panel. Apparently the first owner had some kind of cosmetic damage and had the the quarter re-painted. The paint seems fine, but the clear coat does not look too good. If you keep it clean and it has a few nice coats of wax, it looks a million times better, but a wet sand and new clear coat would be best…I just haven’t had the time or money. 4- Roof Bubbles. I have some roof bubbles around the top of both doors. If you dont know what these are, they are bubbles of epoxy that has seeped up through the fiberglass roof panel over the years. The glue collects under the paint and slowly pushes it up to form some pimple like bumps on the roof. They are in a straight line along a seem, and it is a common issue with these cars...especially when they are not garage kept and are always exposed to the elements. Some cars dont have problems, while other do, its pretty random. It can be temporarily fixed with a new complete paint job (stiped down), but they will eventually return. The permanent fix is to buy a new roof panel and new epoxy supplied from GM (new epoxy does not have the same problem as the original), and replace the panel. Some major positives are:
1- The clutch and flywheel are less than a year old, it’s a Spec2 and steel Spec Flywheel, and they probably 3,000 miles on them at most.
2- The hydraulic clutch master cylinder was replaced with the clutch and flywheel, with a genuine GM Part.
3- The Koni Single Adjustable Shocks are relatively new (installed April 2008) and since they adjustable, you have a range of handling characteristics to play with.

The best track pass has been a 12.378 @ 111.82mph with a 1.906 60 foot, [Time Slip Picture] on 100 shot, and is in the video link above. The car has potential for high 11’s with a better launch and faster 60'.
Email me at mfrey_kdr@yahoo.com or PM and I will get to you ASAP. I am looking to get $7000 OBO out of her, but will entertain resonable offers.
Let me know,
Mike

FYI, I may as well add that I could be talked into driving a little bit to meet you for full asking price. That could save you a little time and maybe travel. I probably wont be able to go more than an hour or so from the Winchester area, just not capable of having my ride follow me much farter than that. Keep that in mind.

Well, I just added 15 new pictures to my Flickr Account, check them out. They detail the issues that I have listed such as the roof bubbles, scapes under the front bumper, and the drivers side quarter panel. I also added several more direct links to the pictures within my orignial post.
Thanks for looking.
Mike.

12 days til my check clears the bank and I'll jump on it. Probably be gone by then. I thought for sure someone would have snatched it up by now. Please don't sell it yet! J/K, money talks folks, buy this thing or I will.

Its called not having any money man! Just never had the chance to mod the car like I had wanted, and now my situation has got a bit worse so she has to go. Its unfortunate for me, but hopefully Ferg 95 T/A will have a nice new ride in his driveway.

OP you may as well consider it sold. Ferg95 T/A and myself are coming to get it ASAP with cash money. I really hate you have to sell it but it will have a good home. I guarantee you that.
