This car peaks boost at 20 and holds at 17. I know a stock turbo is only safe at 16psi. It rarely see's 17 unless its at the track or a quick dig on the street. Car avg. 27.2 mpg on my last tank. That was hwy miles, no interstate at all. Car has 5% tint on ALL windows, even teh front! Ive blacked out the lights, wheels and the intercooler. Interior is stock besides a sony deck. Drivers seat has a small rip, i patched it back together. not to noticable untill you stare at it. The car needs nothing at all. The check engine light is on due to the cat being off. Car is tuned with the stage 2 ecu, probley needs a handheld actually to help it out more.
PRICE- $10,300 as is
$8,950 stock
Will trade for a M6 car. Really want another Trans Am. 98 and up. Not picky on options. Just looking for a m6 car asap.
*note to ******** and people with time on their hands...DONT LOWBALL, DONT TELL ME WHAT ITS WORTH, IF YOU DONT WANT IT DONT POST!

Cars in this exact same condition sell for 6-8k due to mileage. You are on srtforums and you should know this.... You would also know that if the car had a stage 2 PCM that the check engine light would NOT be on.
That car is also NOT built. If you knew anything about srt-4's you would know the stock turbo can be set to 19lbs of boost safely.
Here are some questions for you:
1) Who built the transmission or what vendor did you use to buy the parts?
2) What stage 2 clutch? There are many clutch kits for this car.

Transmission is built with all billet kit. When it was rebuilt they put in the whole transmission kit instead of peice by peice. The clutch is stock spec 2. The stock turbo will hold 17psi safe. Read it in articles. Put 19psi on a stock turbo an you'll replace it shortly. I've had 3 srts an know enough. The car has full stage 2 kit. Says it on the ecm, injectors are correct also. No need to be a dick, like I said if you don't want the car don't buy!

Still haven't asnwered this: What vendor did you buy the kit from?
I'm an admin on srtforums.com and know quite a lot about these cars. My brother has been running 19psi on his stage 2 srt with NO CATS AND NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT for 3 years now. You can say you read it all you want, you are wrong.
Spec stage 2 clutch is a good clutch sort of. Had my brothers die on him within a week and others still have it working 100%.
The fact that your transmission also doesn't have the LSD that the '04 and 05' srt's have takes away from the value of the car. NADA and KBB both say that the '03 srt with 119,000 miles on it is worth between $6,000 to $7,700.

Look dude, I'm at work. My list is at home for the trans. Is it a big deal that I can't remeber? Both guys that bought those cars used a bank. So obv they sell for more than you think. I know I'll sell it for what I'm asking or get a good trade. TTT

Jonnybz28, why don't you chill the **** out. If you don't have any bit of interest in buying this guys car, then take a hike.. People need to stay out of other peoples threads instead of constantly bumping them up with non sense. There are plenty other people here trying to sell things and don't feel like dealing with little kids arguing over what stage/ what size / what miles. If you need to know these things pm him. My thread moves a 100 mph because people like you.

I'm sorry that you feel it's okay for people to call stock cars "built" when they are NOT. Your car is a built car, this car is NOT.

that makes no sence what so ever?? a bank charges more? charges more for what lol!!?? the guy bought it from a private seller, but got a loan thru the bank for the 8200..
