The Corvette wheels have been removed, and factory 16" wheels are back on it. The 18" EMT tires spun WAAAAAY too much, and also rubbed the inner wheel wells which was annoying.
I'm selling those wheels/tires seperately anyway.
it's got 119k on it, was retired from North Carolina Highway Patrol at 85k.
car was unmarked with lights mounted inside in the rear headliner, and removed. the siren control unit is STILL INSTALLED in the ash try, and YES, IT WORKS.
It's spent it's life in GA for the past 3 years, and here in FL since July 1st.
Clear title just transfered into in my name. (That was a waste of $300, now that I'm selling it already- wife doesn't like it)
Car is 1 of 39 white B4Cs produced in 2000.
Just beat my buddies 04 Lighting on the street a few weeks ago from a dig:
On the 18" EMT tires spinning through 1st, had to get out of it and back in it, still pulled a steady 2 cars on him and he wasn't catching up.
We went from 30mph roll after that, I spun all the way through second and still held him off a few car lengths. The car has VERY GOOD power.
Gainesville Raceway Test & Tune August 4th:
The car is stupid consistent, and with a converter and some good air it's a 12.7-12.9 car EASY.
Keep in mind Florida August 90° temperatures and 100% humidity
45 minutes after driving to the track and teching in, first pass:
1.978 60'
8.51@84.76 1/8
13.17@105.25 1/4
30 minutes after that pass:
1.980 60'
8.51@84.80 1/8
13.16@105.13 1/4
^these passes were made launching at 1200-1400 RPM
I hot lapped it for the rest of the night, (20-30 minutes between runs)
leaving at about 1000-1200 RPM:
13.238@105.62
13.245@105.27
13.276@105.35
13.277@105.18
I have all timeslips and in car videos from my runs tonight too.
