Default 1998 Trans Am 6spd CHEAP

Year: 1998
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $5200
Mileage: 139000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): AZ
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

gauging interest in my '98 Trans Am. 5,200 OBO

car has been my DD for 5 years, has been amazingly reliable since day 1. the car does have the usual wear and tear from it's age, check the "bad" section.

139,000 miles, mostly highway (80 mile daily commute)
LS1
T56
stock 10 bolt
has AC

mods:
whisper lid
LG G5X1 cam (228/232 .188 lift 114lsa)
ls2 timing chain, ls6 oil pump
Patriot dual springs/titanium ret.
Mac midlengths, ORY, hooker catback w/ electric cutout
hurst shifter w/ pro5.0 stick
intrax springs
relocated LCA's
Racetronix fuel pump w/ harness
Drag wheels with street tires (great condition, one tire is a week old)

Maintenance:
-ALL fluids flushed and changed 2 months ago (brake fluid, tranny, coolant, oil, rear, etc)
-new front rotors and pads
-new belts
-new AC compressor/dryer

NEEDS/BAD
-dash has a crack in it, and a couple small fractures on the pass. side, az heat is brutal can get pics if needed
-antenna doesn't go up or down
-front bumper is developing clearcoat problems, can repaint if needed
-headliner has tears around the top, has been removed, just hasn't been recovered yet
-pass. side tail light missing reverse bulb cover, still works
-could use a good tune

this car would be great for somebody looking to make a mean street/strip car, or just a solid weekend warrior with some decent power. I am selling because I have been thinking of getting into a Jeep for the past 6 months and I am finally going to pull the trigger.

if you are seriously interested, let me know and i can get specific pictures for you

car has never been dynoed, probably makes around 360-370rwhp. still has stock ls1 intake, 98 heads, mild cam. wanted to have something easy to drive on the streets and this thing pretty much drives like stock.

sorry about that.

i believe it's .574/.588 lift.

also forgot to mention that the valvesprings and valve seals were replaced 5k miles ago, and the water pump was replaced 4k miles ago.

here you can see the cracked dash, i'm not sure what caused this but i'm guessing the AZ summer time heat . i have grown to get used to it but if it bothers you, it would either need a dash out of a donor car, or a dash mat.

you can also see the tear in the drivers seat, this is the only flaw in the upholstery, besides the headliner which i have out of the car, just needs to be recovered and put back in.

also pictured is the infamous seat belt guide that broke, nothing major but i haven't had time to replace it and figured i'd get a pic of it.

the car cleans up nice and definitely gets the attention of others, looks and sound wise. it's not perfect, but i'm hoping it will go to a good home that can make it perfect.

shoot me an offer, i'm all ears

You wouldn't happen to live in the area of Surprise would you? I could have sworn I saw a car exactly like yours driving a half mile down the road from the Chevy dealership up there.
