Year: 2002
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $16000
Mileage: 40000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): FL
Color: Blue
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
Me and the car are located in St Petersburg, FL. The car needs to be driven and tuned to get the cobwebs out of it. It has been sitting around for two years (just made it to Florida a few months ago) and I haven't had the means or time to get it going again. Right now I am only asking $15k for it because it does not run. If I get it running and cleaned up, expect that number to go way up.
The car is a 2002 Trans Am WS6 with a custom rear mount turbo setup, NBM with custom paint. There is only 40k on the chassis and about 2k on the motor
Here is a list of the modifications:
Built 347 with refinished stock block and balanced crank, Diamond Forged Coated reverse dome pistons and Callies forged rods. 8:1 CR, everything balanced and blueprinted within .1 grams.
03+ Z06 cam
LS6 heads ported that flow around 330cfm with dual valve springs, titanium retainers, all nice hardware
The motor has arp head studs and arp main studs
Turbonetics GTK-850 turbo, rear mounted, with tial bov and wastegate
Exhaust is all stainless steel, every intermediate connection is v-banded and it is wrapped from the collectors back to the turbo, spools up very fast
Edelbrock carb style intake with intakeelbows.com aluminum intake elbow and nick williams 90 mm tb
edelbrock fuel rails with 60 lb injectors.
walbro fuel pump
racetronix wiring to the back for the pump
upgraded scavenge pump with -6 push lock hose
4" FMIC
only 3 intake pipes on the car for reduced boost leakage (one from the tb to the intercooler, one from the intercooler to before the axle, one from the turbo to there. T-bolt clamps on all connections.
Has a set of street wheels and tires that are 18x9" with 285/40/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s on them with about 10k on them.
Rear end is a ford 9" with tru track.
Transmission is a T56 with the spec twin disk clutch.
LCA's, Relocation brackets, big rear swaybar, chassis mounted torque arm, bmr weld-in sfcs, koni sa's in the back
Also has lojack and a viper alarm system w/ 2 way pager.
Autometer boost gauge and electric fuel pressure gauge
Tuned with efi live 3 bar os, comes with a roadrunner and efi live with the license for the car.
Made 585 rwhp and 602 rwtq with the old 66 mm turbo, this one is a 72 mm and should make around 700-750 hp which should be about the limit of the fuel system.
Stereo has been removed.
The car has a lot of time and money into it. It was built to be a fast street car that you can drive every day. The car is very driveable and makes tons of power.

It won't take a lot to get it to run, but my time is much more valuable since I got out of college. I also don't have the resources over here to get it done right without taking it to a good speed shop. Send me a PM if you have any other questions.

The car does run, I have driven it onto trailers to have it moved. It hasn't been run in a while so it needs to be driven and tuned. Its not like there is something wrong with the motor, it just hasn't been driven in a while. I am trying to see if I can sell it right now instead of spending $1000 in new vehicle registration and insurance premiums just to get it running again. Not to mention dyno time, shop time, etc. If it doesn't sell like this I will pony up the cash to do all of that, but I just need to find the time.
I have a few bites right now so unless you have a question about the car, please stay out of this thread (99f1).
