Default 2002 CETA roller!

Year: 2002

Model: Trans Am
Price: $7500
Mileage: 0
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): KS
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Up for sale is a friend of mines 2002 Trans Am WS6 CETA Roller. He does not have an account on here so I am posting this up for him. He also currently has the car for sale on eBay. Below are the pics, info, and also a link the the eBay page. I have seen this car in person and it looks GREAT!

2002 Pontiac Trans Am Collector Edition (CETA) 6-speed. The car does have a salvage title, but HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED. Actual mileage is unknown; last titled at 870 miles. I am not selling as actual mileage because I cannot power up the digital odometer. I bought this car back in 2007 as a theft recovery car shell only. Everything was stolen: engine, transmission, fenders, hood, doors, interior, even the rear hatch. Since then I have purchased two additional CETA parts cars. All original or new GM parts were used for this rebuild; NO AFTER-MARKET PARTS! Included in this auction is eight CETA wheels (some have curb rash) and the hood decals. Since the engine was out of car, I base/clear coated the engine bay to match the exterior of the car. I also repainted the entire car so all the body panels match, you will not be disappointed with the paint job as it is better than new. Some parts needed to finish the car include: engine, transmission, V8 K-Member and suspension (V6K-Member installed for rolling purposes), hood, headlights, engine bay wiring harness, windshield, mirrors, and other small parts. I have too many other projects and have lost interest in this one, my loss is your gain. I have well over $12,000 invested. I am willing to deliver within a reasonable distance if buyer covers fuel cost, although, I will deliver to Topeka, Ks free of charge. Please email me with any questions. WILL NOT PART OUT CAR, so please dont ask.

His Email is jdhaskell02@hotmail.com or you can also pm me for more details.

Come on guys this thing has a fresh paint job, even in the door jams and engine bay! This guy only does the best quality work and he is the ONLY guy I trust to work on my car! This is perfect for a builder who can have the look of the CETA but not worry about modding an all original one!

Fresh paint, decals, all new oem parts, and he even painted the engine bay with the intent of making this a show car. He restores cars for a living and some have even sold on Barrett Jackson. This is great quality, you can count on that!

That is the reason for a higher priced roller.

It's overpriced because of a few main reasons:

1. It's a roller and you are talking about alot of money to get it driveable

2. Miles are unknown and will show on the title

3. After all that work/time and money, you will have a salvaged car which greatly diminishes the value. NO offense, but 30 years from now, I can't see this selling for a ton at Barrett Jackson unless somehow the "salvaged" title disappears from the car.

This car was not ment to go to Barrett Jackson, I just said he produced quality work worthly of that auction. Show car quality yes, but any one will realize that this is not original and will not bring the kind of money down the road that a completely stock origianl one would.

I am only trying to sell a car for a friend.

Thank you for your statements but please keep your negative opinons to yourself guys. Thanks.

yes i offered this guy 5,000 for it on the ebay auction and i think that is more then reasonable for a roller needin just about everything but interior and with a salvage title, really want to save her but only for $5,000 ,even needs a new k member lets be serious here, alot of needs for this car includin the main and most expensive and important oem piece which is the hood but good luck with sale love it and want it!

if it was salvaged and runnning then i could see 7500 for it. i paid that for my 2000 with 108,00 miles on it, it was also running. sorry bro, but you're gunna have to break his little heart and tell him that it WILL not sell for 7500 with no motor, trans, wiring harness. there is still months of work for the average DIYer. 5000 is more then a generous offer in all honesty

If it was running 7,500 would be a black friday kind of deal. Thats just not going to happen. The parts that are on this he had to add are all GM parts. All new paint over the whole car. As it sets right now it is in better shape (paint and body wise) than most clear title vehicles out there.

I wouldnt even sell my car for 7,500 and its a 99 with 76k salvage title. And it is in better shape than most out there, mostly because of how I take care of it, but the point is people never know its a salvage title.

but the point is that it is still salvaged and 7500 for a salvaged roller isnt going to happen,he even told me what his reserve price was but if someone wont pay 7500 on it why would they pay a couple hundred less lol?this thing needs to be a couple thousand cheaper b4 it will move, just my opinion though, there is a clean title convertable ceta out by me with 80k miles for $12,000
