[SOLD] 2001 Camaro SS
Year: 2001
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $9998
Mileage: 86000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): IL
Color: Black
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
Adult owned & non-smoker. SUPER CLEAN!!! Interior is spotless and in excellent condition. I have the original window sticker and a separate set of paper work from SLP with build options. Deep glossy black paint with ebony interior. Remote start, T-tops with sun shades (new in bag and never used), leather, Monsoon stereo, steering wheel radio controls, power everything, auto transmission, and traction control.
This SS has a 3.42 rear axle assembly with only 14K original miles (bought from another member on this forum). The car really responds to this combo with a first gear ratio equivalent to 4.22 axle gears in a manual transmission car.

More pictures.
Last picture shows T-top seals, but also shows the bubbles in the paint on the sail panel (between T-tops and rear glass). This is a common GM quality issue and is present on many of these cars. I can either leave it as is, or work out a great deal on a high quality repaint of that panel. The car is beautiful as is, but would be drop dead gorgeous with that fix.

The car has a solid body. All body surfaces under the car are still in good condition. No paint is flaking away which is a very good indicator that problems are not lurking under the surface. Body has no rust. Some of the unpainted hardware on the car has surface corrosion (bolts, bare iron & steel parts), and some pieces of hardware are totally clean. None of the hardware was difficult to remove when I swapped the rear axle - this is another good sign.
I spoke with the previous owner and I know that the car was driven in snow sometimes. Evidently, the previous owner took great care to prevent rust problems as evidenced by the current condition.

Have no doubt that this is a very nice car. It looks just as good in person as it does in the pictures.
These pics were taken today. Most the car looks dull because I wiped it down and it is covered with water condensation. It just wouldn't dry with the extremely humid weather today. The hood is so freaking perfect that all you can see is reflections in it which makes it hard to make out the shape of the ram air intake.
