LS3 Coupe Mustang for sale...
Year: 1979
Make: Ford
Model: Mustang
Price: $15000
Mileage: 1200
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Color: Black
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
I'm not looking for any trades; I'm in the process of buying my old orange 67 Camaro back and need the money for it.
It a 79 Coupe Mustang with 1990 Front end and interior, some of the panels have been painted black to match. This is a 100% street car that runs 10’s on motor and will drive anywhere getting 20+ MPH
LS3 Motor out of a 2010 Corvette, motor is 100% stock with around 1,200 miles on it. I had to pull the heads because a few valves were bent so I installed a Custom Cam, Double roller timing Chain and head Studs.
Transmission is a Built 4L60e that was behind a 440LSx Truck and a Yank 3600 Stall
Fresh built 8.8 rear-end with 31 spline axles, new 373 gears and lockers.
Few other parts the car has:
AJE K-Member
UPR Upper and Lower Control Arms
UPR A-Arms
Comp adjustable Coil over in the rear
Can’t remember what Coil overs are in the front
Kooks Headers with Custom X-Pipe tied into flow masters and stainless tips
Weldon Fuel pump
Be-Cool Radiator
Spear tech wiring harness
Tuned by Flaco (Made 468 RWHP
I know I’m missing a lot of parts on this car. If you have any question please give me a call.
On pump gas driven to and from the track the car went a 10.76 @ 126mph with a 1.48 60'. This car can be driven anywhere and gets 20+mpg on the highway.
Here are a few pictures; the car no longer has these wheels on it, I will get some up-dated pictures soon…
For the haters that want to run their mouth and say the car is not worth the price. I would like to see you build this car for less than what I'm asking for it.
4-5k for a clean rolling chassis
5-6k for a low mile LS3 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2010-...Q5fAccessories
BUILT 4L60E transmission $2,000.00+
Yank 3600 Stall $500.00 used
AJE K-member $360.00
Kooks 1 1/8 headers $660.00
Wiring Harness $500.00
Fuel System with good pump and braded Lines $600.00 - 1k
Custom Exhaust $300.00+
Custom driveshaft $300.00
Tune $500.00
Custom gauges $600.00
Other parts needed to make swap work $500.00 - $1,000.00 (Fuel rails, Throttle Body, Computer, Shifter, Intake tube, O2 sensors, Radiator/Fans etc...)
Just these parts alone add up close to 16k and that’s with me adding up the low side numbers. This is not including labor and other parts not mentioned...
Here are a few pictures I took tonight (3-34-2010). The car is pretty dirty right now because pollen from the pine trees is pretty bad right now.

How do you figure I'm a bit high? You could not even build this car for what I'm asking for it. Show me another 10 second all motor car for less, there is no doubt it will run in the 9's on a 150 shot and still drive it home. The drive line in this car has less than 1200 miles on it... Motor came out of an 2010 vette with 652 miles, That's cost 1/2 of what I'm asking for the car.

Awesome build man, you have done some really cool **** with mustangs based on your other build thread and this car.
Just for ***** and giggles, how hard would it be to get A/C into a build like this?

I'd be intrested in this car with NO nitrous. And with bieng said, if you came down on the price a little bit...I think it's sick..I'll be here waiting if you ever want to go that option.

The A/C will not be too bad. The condensor is already mounted and I have a new compressor, I just forgot to put it on the motor when I installed it. All it will need is the lines made and wire it up to make it work with the controls.
I'll pull the nitrous off but I'm not coming off the price. If I come off the price any the LS3 will be coming out and I will put a LS1 back in it.

I did not want to shift gears, its nice drinking your morning coffee while driving to work without worrying about spilling it or pulling the drink down to shift gears.
I sold a nice built 6 speed to buy the auto I put in it...

I do agree, I loved the way it looked with the FR500's but when I got them they were beat up with curb rash pretty bad. The tires were about bald... I traded them even for the ones on there now and they came with new tires so I figured I would run them till I killed the tires.
