Year: 1987
Make: Chrysler
Model: Conquest
Price: $3000
Mileage: 3000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): PA
Color: Red
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has other engine
The good:
357 SBC, Vortec heads, TRW forged pistons, Holley 750, 10:1 comp.
Turbo 350 with manual valve body, 2800ish stall
Stock posi IRS with 555s on the back.
Rust free Arizona car. The paint is a little faded but 99.9% rust free.
Manual Ford rack and pinion, GM column.
The bad:
Exhaust dumps underneath floor boards.
No wipers, speedo, heater.
Trans tunnel needs patched. The tunnel needed cut to fit the turbo 350, and it needs patched or a tunnel kit.
The car is very drivable as it is, it just needs a little time and TLC put into it to make it more streetable/daily drivable and complete.

$3000. He is giving the car away at this price.
I'm listing this for my friend, but I can answer most questions about it. I know the car well and gave him a hand in building it. He bought a Mustang roller and needs the money to drop an lq4 into it.
If interested call Rick at 724-841-5453. Car is located in Butler, PA 16001 about an hour north of Pittsburgh.

Hi there, I texted him early this morning and was asking some questions. How streetable is it right now? Any pics of the interior? How well does it drive? Any leaks or issues? Is the interior chopped up? I want to buy it but would like to know more about the build. I want a solid foundation to start with, not a hack type job. Thanks!

The exhaust is loud in the car. It would really benefit from tail pipes.
It has no HVAC at all.
No radio.
He never got around to hooking up the reverse lights, it needs a wiper motor and possibly linkage (not sure), and he was planning on installing all aftermarket gauges so the cluster doesn't work.
The trans tunnel needed cut a little to clear the trans. You could easily patch it, or buy a tunnel kit. Its only cut in a few spots, not a big gaping hole in the floor.

Its just a bunch of small stuff that he doesn't feel like messing with. You can come down, turn the key, and drive it down the road without a problem. It is a little gear bound for interstate driving. A 4L60 would be ideal for highway cruising.
I don't have any pics of the interior and its in pretty nice shape considering the year. I think it only has the lap belts up front, you'd have to ask him for sure.
I don't believe it has any leaks that I know of. It will run warm on a really hot day revving high rpms down the highway. Again, 4L60 or even a high volume water pump would cure the problem.
For the asking price, he is giving the thing away. Its well worth the money. $3000 and run 12s at the track in a fairly unique ride, not a bad deal to me.

Sounds great, I will take it. Let him know. I was first in line. I'm on 3rd shift and would like to pick it up today. Ask him to text me or call me this morning. Also ask him if he could meet me in Ohio for an extra $100. I'm coming from Michigan. Thanks!

Maybe try calling him again. He isn't trying to blow you off. He's been super busy at his shop and with his new project. He said he wasn't sure if he knew what number was yours. There have been many people calling and texting him so its kinda hard keeping all the #s straight with who is who.

Thank you for your positive comment pertaining to the FS thread. I'm glad you found it necessary to post your opinion on the car because your opinion really means a lot to me.
