Price: $12900
Mileage: 42000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MD
Color: Silver

Got an offer of 12k from C Edward. Seemed low even with a rebuilt car title. I replied without the rear so... if anyone wants it without the 9" but a 10 bolt I can deal.

No offense but I would take his offer. I've been all over the net checking out F bodies and C5s and that is a reasonable price. 13000 is KBB for a good condition car with this mileage and even though it was fixed properly, that title would be enough to drop the price a little. It sucks but it's inevitable it's a buyers market right now and most guys would rather pay the same price for a factory stock car than a built one. GLWS either way I hope u get it sold for a price you won't beat yourself up over.

Perfect until you saw the rebuilt title? Maybe for your friend but bet it's 10 times nicer than others he will look at with a piece of title paper without.

I was completely excited till I saw the REbuilt title also. Damn...Beautiful car and nice mods but rebuilds take about a 30-50% hit on book value when anyone tries to get a loan on it, rebuilt perfect or not. I have bought and sold several this way. It just KILLS the value. But I may still talk to the wife. How hard is it to drive normal with the big stall? she will drive it a lot and I dont want to hear complaining lol. But in the end, I think the price is going to kill it. My buddy sold a Formula , immaculate with same things done....sold for $7000 due to the rebuild title.

The stall isn't noticeable.

$7000? Your friend ripped himself off! He could have sold the rear for $3000 and parted a nice car out for a ton more than $4000. You should have helped him with the decision.

You should have listed the fact it had been totaled in the initial description.

I'll bet she pulls like a monster though, glws!

He had it for sale for over four months. Title scares most away and no loan value

Loan? It's 12k? How hard could that be unless you are broke and shouldn't look anway because you can't afford it. That's the types I been getting... window shoppers!

So you are trying to say that more than a handful of guys here have 12k at their disposal at any given time?? Come on now man that is just silly. I sold cars for a while and came to the realization that about 95% of people are so upside down and silly lost on their cars and credit score its sickening and sure dont have disposable income. Many of them were friends that I THOUGHT had good credit and their act together but it was just a show.

Yes I would get a loan for 12k...you think I just sit around with that kind of cash waiting for someone to post a nice car up for sale with a salvage title that is asking about 4k too much and not disclosing that its a salvage/rebuild in the opening sale ad?? ?? HELL NO! Sorry man but that comes off as really shady!

Just because people get loans does not make them less of a person...just means they are probably smart with their money and have good credit. I know about 4 people with a credit rating of over 750 like I have and that allows me to buy pretty much whatever I want since I obviously make my payments.

Yeah...I cant afford your $12k car...RRRIIIGGGGHHHTTT!!! I could go buy a new Z06 today but why when I can have a great car for a fraction of the cost.

Pretty crappy attitude for you to have considering you are trying to get someone to pay you money for something you have.

In my opinion, you should pull the mods off the car, sell the shell and buy a low mile roller to put that setup in then you can get what you want for it. But what do I know...I am just a brokeass that cant afford a rebuilt car right?

Good luck with your sale and free bump I guess

LOHR I didn't ask for any of your opinions and you come off as a real Douche. Do me a favor and delete your stupid responses and just stay gone. You have no interest here and it goes against the rules of this section. Please delete them ASAP or the mods can do it for you.
