Default 2002 Trans Am WS6 450+RWHP With Extras

Year: 2002
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $12900
Mileage: 42000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MD
Color: Silver
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

I bought the car with 26k original miles about 3 years ago and it now has 41.k miles. All the heavier mods were done in the last 1 1/2 years. Standard WS6 with T-Tops, power drivers seat, leather, yadda. I'm including all the stock parts I swapped out about the 34k mile mark except the LS6 intake and 10 bolt rear which are gone. It's not in brand new condition but I would say 93% of what it looked like brand new. It has the normal door panel cracks but I will also be including a BNIB passenger door panel (yup new!). They never really bothered me much. Mods, etc...

- Stock untouched bottom 10.8:1 with the heads
- RapTr cam
- LS7 lifters
- Patriot Stage 2 heads
- FAST 92 ported inlet to 96mm
- 96mm throttle body
- 1 3/4" stainless long tubes
- Underdrive pulley
- Custom 3" to 4" Flowmaster Y with manual cutout
- Trans cooler
- Circle-D 4C 3700 stall
- MWC 9" with Detroit locker and Motive 3.70 gears
- SLP line-loc
- Strange Moly driveshaft
- UMI panhard
- UMI SFC's
- UMI lower control arms
- Bilstein shocks
- BMR 1.25" drop springs
- CDT component door speakers w/crossovers
- Bazooka sail woofers
- Subthump box with 10" RE-SE subwoofer
- Hifonics amp
- Sits on almost perfect Speedlines with Yokohama radials
- Dyno tuned by Race Proven Motorsports 456 RWHP (with graph)

Car goes 11.40@120 with mid 1.5 60's loaded at 3850lb race-weight on DR's. Remove some weight, more gear and converter should go 10's.

It has cold A/C and all luxury stuff in place. Can take it any distance desired on the mild combo with no issues at all.

I think that about covers it. KBB with the mileage says the car is about 14k then add all the extras so it's a very good deal. Someone steps up quick I may throw in the balancer tools and valve spring tool with it.

Pewter wasn't an option so I put Silver. It is Pewter with Ebony interior.

Got some views on this now. Any ideas on the pricing or did I miss some details?

very sweet ride. a modded low mileage TA is a tough sell.

there is a 1 of 18 Formula Firehawk near me in the same price range with about the same mods.......he can't get rid of his either. i'd love to have the car, but those mods mean there's a good chance it's just been beaten......

you just need to find the right individual! good luck.......

Thanks! Well it hasn't been beaten like it spends most of it's life 1/4 mile at a time. Probably 20-25 total passes and no street racing ever. Always maintained and babied!

Has anything been done to the trans other than stall and trans cooler? Does it come with both sets of rims?

Yea I don't know where that number comes from. The Comp card that was on the box said .617/.613.

The trans is stock 100% and works flawless.

The drag wheels are long gone. For now I do have a spare set of Speedlines with Hoosier DR's that could be worked in the deal. The plan is to seperate the wheels/tires here shortly and sell though.

Tough sell indeed. I gave up; I'm parting mine out. you'll find it in the parts section.

Probably tough here. How about E-Bay?

FWIW I took it out for a spin tonight and mileage is actual 41,655.

So what would be a quick sale on this so to speak? How much does a stock 41k mile WS6go for these days? It comes to a point where if you can't get something logical for it just keep it. Gotta be worth more later!

I just sold mine for 10,500. I was trying to get 13,000. It's higher mileage and older than yours. I've been trying to sell for a while now, but it seems the market for them isn't too strong. You'd be surprised at how much people aren't willing to pay. After what I just witnessed selling mine, I would say that if you asked 13K you could get it sold; just a friendly suggestion, I'm not in the market to buy.

Hmmm.. Well I guess I could do 13 but that wouldn't want to hear a peep about so much as a bug being on it

You know I don't really. I can take one but figured it looks like any other LS1 with a FAST and all the goodies. It's clean though... real clean! I will grab a couple when it's nice out.

I bought my 00' WS6 with 46k last year for $13k and it put down 398whp after I had it tuned. You should be able to get around that for yours for a fairly quick sale. You just have to find the right buyer!
