now the bad : truck has a dent on the driver side bed behind the tire, and the rear bumper is bent up a little. i got hit and got insurance money for it, but me and the ex had just split and i needed the cash to move out, and get some stuff for my apartment...women suck! its actually not real bad. it could be fixed for around $1000 igve or take a few, or just beat out so it isnt so rough looking. the person that owned the truck before me must have been a hunter or something because there are little scrapes and scratches on the paint like it was in the woods alot. but nothing too bad. I had to pull the relay for the ABS pump because it was kicking on when it wasnt supposed to...one of the four sensors is acting up but not bad enough to make the computer throw a code so we could see which one, and since i hate ABS anyway, i just pulled the fuse. there are two lights on on the dash because of that, but it still has power brake and stops just fine, just doesnt have that ABS bouncing...you know what i mean.
the truck also has right at 160,000 miles...but the 5.3's have been known to be very dependable and last forever. The truck runs real strong and the interior is in really good shape. Its cloth seats, dark gray, the console lid is broke, big surprise there. I put in a double din stereo in the dash and i cut the stock trim panel to fit, then discovered that the brackets supplied with my install kit wouldnt work, so i fabbed my own and moved the stereo over...the trim panel is a little off now, but doesnt bother me, however, most people would probably wanna find another one and cut it better to look better.
I drive the truck everyday and can honestly say its a great truck, very reliable and will go for a while longer! Only reason i am considering parting with it is because my grandfather passed away recently and me and my dad inherited his 4x4 truck, and i have been fixing it up a little and am considering driving it.
Asking price is $5500 OBO...but not much less than that.
