Well lots of people use KBB as a reference when buying or selling cars so even though you don't care, you should take it into consideration.

The car looks nice no doubt about it but most guys I know with fbody or vettes keep their cars just as clean. Plus, you have vids of the car drag racing so it wasn't exactly babied either.

I'm just saying, for what your asking, its way above market value. And its notway a ws6 either. The car is basically a cam only car with bolt ons so performance wise, there isn't any major money invested into it. And 50,000 miles isn't exactly low miles as you listed. There are some cars on here with built forged motors and lower milage going for the same amount or less.

GLWS, its still a nice car.

Its about 3 or 4k too high. I understand you need some wiggle room for negotiating. I would pay 13k and feel that's a fair price for both the buyer and seller. The thing about 4th gens is they will never be worth a lot even 20 years from now unfortunately. Just too many made and so many clean ones still around.

Hey Cranny here's a thought for you...

If you don't like the price of MY CAR, the STFU and get out of my thread.. Seriously, you're like a little child

Ohh and you're telling me that my Trans Am has high miles at 50,9xx for being an 02. The normal mileage these days according to Federal Standards is 15k/yr.

So let's do some siimple math. My Trans Am is 10 yrs old. SO let's multiply 15k miles x 10 yrs and we get 150k miles.

Yet my car at 50,9xx miles is TOO HIGH according to you So as you can see I'm WAY BELOW that.

Now please exit my thread!

This car is priced right for the miles, condition, and mods. I wish I had the scratch.

If a car is priced too high, nature will take it's course and the ad will either remain up forever, or the price will come down to something more resonable, or the seller will just end up keeping their car. I think there are several cars on this site that are priced too high, but it's not my place (nor yours) to hassle the owners' about their price.

Here on LS1Tech, we ask that members not hassle other members about their listing prices. It's just not welcome here. You've made your offer of $13k, and it seems clear that the seller isn't interested in that offer. So you can either make a higher offer and see if you can reach a deal, or just move on and let him know that your offer stands if he ever changes his mind.

If you are interested in giving your input on listing prices, feel free to spend some time in a section we have devoted to this very purpose, here is a link:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/what-worth-149/

....members posting in the above section are literally asking for opinions on the value/fair pricing of their items, so I'm sure they'd love to hear your input.

Thanks,
-TECH Staff.

Hey John-

If nothing comes through in the next month, I will PM you and let you know and maybe we can work something out?

I think the mileage now for my car is 50,98x or might just be at 51K

The last time I drove my car was Back in the begining of May. Hasn't moved since then

Sorry didn't mean to insult anybody. Sorry if you took offense. Just trying to negotiate like anyone would when looking at cars. I saw you had it listed since last year so I didn't know if you were desperate to try and unload it or not in any hurry. Anyways, GLWS.
