Thats right folks, this car is my brothers and he is in jail. Cars not in his name though its in my moms... We arent going to pay the payment for him so its gotta go. :/ Its sucks to see it go because it used to be mine and I know I put over $5K myself into it and I bought it for $23900 or something like that, and then he put way more than $5K himself into it... We have lots of receipts and whatnot if you want those too.

48K miles

On a 1-10 scale

Exterior: 8
Interior: 10
Engine: 10
Transmission: 10
Rear end: 10+
Suspension: 10
Adrenaline Factor: 9.9 (Do a WOT blast with the top down, its pretty wicked)

Location: Deep South Texas (Mission, TX)

Price: $16000 FIRM *NO BS WILL NOT TAKE LESS SORRY

We will start with the bad.

Im going to be very up front here. Car has/had an issue where when you go WOT it kinda cut out etc so he had one of the two fuel pumps in the tank replaced with a unit that flows as much as two of those. Anyways he said that didnt fix it and it still does it. He had the PPRV delete as well so its not that.

I personally dont have the time to figure it out but the car runs and drives fine it just has that thing where it cuts out... Actually when I drove it it was fine but he -says- it does it still. Nothing mechanically is wrong with it thats for sure..(engine, trans whatever) car has had so much work done to it, it makes me cringe thinking how little hes selling it for, but oh well.

On to the exterior...its black so you can see every little defect. Front bumper has chips, needs to be repainted if you care about that kind of stuff. Car DOES come with a brand spankin new bumper though, you can do the work yourself if you want.

Above the passenger side door handle, there is a discoloration, oval in shape, about the size of a 99 cent cheesburger. This is a common problems on these...my other Cobra had it too.

It needs rear tires, those Nittos didnt last long at all

Thats all the bad.

On to the GOOD!:

The catback we had on it doesnt fit any more because now it has a solid rear axle.

This car is much much lighter without the IRS back there guys, I weighed it without the brakes and it was 297 lbs without the springs or shocks! Wow. the solid axle was under 200 lbs if Im not mistaken

This car is wicked fast, its probably lighter than a stock coupe by hundred because of the SRA swap, "lightweight" exahaust, etc.

No dents. Minor scratches yes. Chips on front bumper I mentioned. *FREE new bumper though remember

Convertible Top is cherry.

Interior is 99.999% cherry. Smells like leather still.

Its probably all dusty but I can get it detailed if someone is serious about buying it. Its just sitting there...
Ill try to get it cleaned up and get some more pics up but they all look the same.

My names Chris and you can text me at nine five six - 6 8 1 - six zero one zero.

I can deliver the car on a trailer if you cover the cost of the rental trailer for the day and my gas. Up to like say San Antonio or even Houston, but thats as far as I can go, I have to work :/

Im just doing this to help my brother keep from losing everything he has, so Id appreciate it if this car went to a good owner and even better if it was someone from the forums. I just bought my GTO on here from Adam Pugacz (sp?) and I freakin -love- it.

This car is an awesome deal if soemone is willing to give it some TLC

What's his intake track made out of? I only ask because on my Twinscrew Saleen, I found that at WOT the stock rubber track was pinching shut and cutting off like fuel failure. Replaced it with an Extreme intake (solid) and no more problems. Nice car, glws!

Its made of Carbon Fiber... Its pretty sturdy... maybe I should check for a hole or crack after the MAF? That could do it...

In the Christmas spirit since my bro is locked up I decided I can pay $1500 of the difference to help him get this monkey off his back. Price reduced to $16000.

As of today the price remains but if anything the price WILL GO UP as soon as I have time to find out what thedeal is on the car. I am a mechanic and I could fix it I just have too many things to do but IF I HAVE TO WORK ON IT THE PRICE IS GOING UP.

I dont know if I already mentioned it but I replaced the starter, alternator, coils, plugs (NGKTR6?), the DPFR Sensor(Pressure Regulator thing on fuel rail) ($150?)

Any time the car came apart for anything, whatever came off...if there was a better part we could put on there to upgrade the reliability or performance, it was replaced.
