there is 65k invested into the car, frame off restoration. 10k in the paintjob alone. Ive seen cars with some very noticeable building flaws, not looking nearly as good, sold for 80k plus

A modified car almost always loses value.
It's not stock, it's not worth $78,000 in my opinion.
It's like hmm.... $78,000 for a 40 year old Camaro or $78,000 for a brand new Corvette Z06? Because this isn't a collector's car, it's been modified and run hard.

price is sky high for a non #s matching car. paint job is contradictory, everything is practically new.
this car is an awesome restoration. Chances are someone looking to spend 80k on a 68 camaro will be looking for original SS or z28. finding a buyer will be tough
with that being said... this car is badass and i love it. b-e-a-u-tiful!

sounds high for market today. I have 67 twin turbo camaro undergoing a new holley efi swap. I have big brakes on mine all new hotchkis suspension and most the goodies one could want. I am not looking to sell, but if i was i would be about half what you are asking. Anyways to each his own, good luck with sale and nice car.
