2001 QuickSilver Z06 Procharged 700+whp
Year: 2001
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Corvette
Price: $19700
Mileage: 114000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): SC
Color: Silver
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
With child #2 on the way, it's time to get a get a larger vehicle than my ext. cab Silverado. So I'm selling the Z and my truck and looking to move into a TBSS. I traded my T/A for the vette about 9 months ago while I was still in Afghanistan and finished it up a month after returning home in January. It runs great and shows extremely well to be a 100k mile, 11 year old car. It also makes great power on a very safe tune. The shortblock is still stock and has no ticks or knocks and burns maybe 1/2 quart of oil every 1500 miles. Most everything else under the hood other than block, rotating assembly, and accessories is pretty much aftermarket/upgraded
Engine:
TSP Long Tube Headers
TSP X-Pipe
Mufflex Exhaust
Futral F12 Camshaft
Trick Flow 215 Heads (CNC'd w/LS9 gaskets)
D1SC Procharger @ 10psi (Twin Intercooled)
Head Studs
LS2 Timing Chain set
Manley Dual Valve Springs
Chromoly Pushrods
LS7 Lifters
Harland Sharp non-adjustable roller rockers
Melling High Pressure Oil Pump
Fuel System:
Racetronix 255 Fuel Pump and Harness
60lb Siemens Fuel Injectors
SNOW Stage II Progressive Methanol Kit
Transmission:
Monster Level 3 Clutch and Flywheel
TICK Performance Slave Cylinder and Adjustable Master Cylinder
Quick Bleed Line
C6 Z06 Shifter
Suspension:
Brand New Bilstein Sport Shocks (200 miles)
Lowered 1" on Stock Bolts
Exterior:
Stock with all lights tinted (except headlamps)
I have two sets of rear wheels (18x10.5). One set has the orignial Alcoa wheels with Nitto NT05's (200 miles) 295/35/18, and the other set are the Z06 Speedline Wheels with Mickey Thompson 305/35/18's (500 miles).
The vette was tuned by V8muscle.net as all my previous cars have been. Conservative tune yielded 650-660whp with 16* of timing. The hot tune with 21* and the hat removed from the blower yielded 758whp STD. The car was never driven with the hot tune, just once the dyno. The car has great heat and cold A/C. Street manners are pretty good with this cam. It isn't very choppy and doesn't jump at low speeds. Highway driving will see around 22-23mpg at 60-65mph.
The Bad:
The transmission either has a bent shift fork or bad syncro. It is getting to where it doesn't like to shift into 2nd or 6th on the first try. It will still go into each gear and act perfectly normal once in gear. With this in mind, I knocked $1,000 of my asking price.
I'll add pictures when I am on a computer where photobucket isn't blocked. I'll be glad to take anyone for a ride in it, and if you show up with cash, you can take it for a drive yourself and see what a 700hp 3100lb car feels like.
Please email any questions to davidmiddleton7@gmail.com for the fastest correspondence.
I would consider trade for a TrailBlazer SS or maybe Silverado 1500 4-door pickup (2007 or newer). There is NO LIEN on the car. I have the title in hand.
Thanks for looking!

Really not looking for another sportscar. TBSS or Chevy crew cab truck only. Nice bird though.
If the car doesn't sell soon I'll either rebuild the trans and sell at a higher price or part the car out until it's nearly stock then sell it.
