I was asked for the time the car ran on 18.5psi when it went 152mph so here it is.
Crap track prep kept me out of the 8's on this pass (and every one) as i slowed .03 seconds, even with a 60' drop of .13 from 1.29 down to 1.42!! It's already got 8's in it without a final tune or adding any more boost to it!

Hey man you have an awesome car don't get me wrong but how do you expect to get $26,000 out of a drag car? You never get what you put in to it. If you really wanted to sell it, it should be in the $15,000-$18,000 range. I'm seeing alot of fast cars on here that will never sell. Just pointing that out, love the car

$26k for a car that you can drive to the track, get into the 8's and drive back home is not bad at all. I was offered $30k for my mustang and turned it down. And i will tell you that i know for sure that he has quite a bit more than that into it. Yes you can buy a fast car for $15-18k but i will tell you it wont be anywhere near as nice as this one or be some thrown together POS. You get what you pay for my friend!

I was offered $25k and $26k within 2 weeks of it being completed, live and in person at the track, and turned them both down as i had no intentions of selling it before at least getting my first ever 8 second slip. But a few things are looking promising elsewhere in my life and i'm just tossing it out there. For anyone who thinks they can find a car like this, described as 9sec93 pointed out, more power to them! I've been on tech since 2003 so i know a little something about the value of a quality GM build. I will get my price or enjoy it until i do, it's that simple. I haven't personally seen a single 8 second, low mile & clean, very drivable car on here sell for $18k or less. And if they have, that was their loss and i'm sure there was a reason for it.

You sir have a gorgeous truck for sale! i'll shoot you a text tomorrow.

For those who are seriously interested, the first $25k FIRM takes it! I haven't even begun to list this car seriously yet and have had a number of offers close to what i'm asking but just not quite there. Come see this car with $25k in your hand and i believe you will drive or trailer it away the same day! Or, spend up to $50k and build your own!

If he takes it to the track and shows you an 8 second pass, are you going to buy it?

First of all, the price reflects where it's at currently. If it was fully tuned and proven further, the price would reflect it, ie, i would be selling it for more than $25k.

There's an advantage to purchasing the car needing a finishing tune, you can have it tuned on any fuel you want. And it's not the first time in the history of cars that someone has forgotten to use loctite on converter bolts and they've backed out a 1/2 turn. 5 min fix that's not worth bickering about, let along muddying up a thread. If you're interested, come and see it. The bolts will not back out!

And while I get what you're saying about it not being a "proven 8 second car", i think you're only out to start a confrontation by saying so because short of being a complete idiot, there is no arguing it's a good hook away from an 8 second pass, at only 17psi, on a base tune. Which "as proven", the car is Clearly capable of hooking like an sob when the track has bite to it.

Since it's cut a 1.29 sixty foot already, lets do some simple math here for laughs and giggles.....

1.42 - 1.29 = .13.....9.09 - .13 = 8.96.

Lastly, the motor has been short shifted no higher than 6600rpm since the tune is incomplete vs the 7200rpm it should be shifted at, so there's more to be had there as well. This combo in not even Close to reaching it's potential!

Dial in tune, 1-2 more lbs, car will still go 8's on a high 1.3x-1.40 60'...................

Let the man sell his car, he has videos and slips to prove itself, compared to all the other ads on this site "Never been to the track, but makes xxxx rwhp, should go 8's, another guy with same setup did" (should be a footnote......*In someone's car on the other side of the country that I've never met before)

PRAYHRD, pm me and I will delete my post if you feel it's more clutter to your thread.

no no, it's all good man. the negative comments are something thats come with the territory over the years on tech. not everyone has the courtesy to offer their input via pm as they wanna make a stir or seem to think their input is too important not to try to have it seen by all. but thats fine. imo, they aren't going to sway an informed potential buyer who knows what it takes to build a car like this.

i thank you sir for the props and the offer to delete though!
