Well i'm not sure how much i'm going to regret this until after it's gone but i'm interested in having another LS powered notchback because i've Always regretted selling it! That's been the platform i've Loved the most and it's time to look at moving on and doing another build. I will add to this first post, anything that i remember after posting and things that come up via questions answered.
I will give the exterior an 8.5 out of 10 as it's in need of a good buffing after all the leaning on it that's been done in my 1 car garage over the last year+ and there is a small impression over the passenger side rear wheel that isn't visible until you're right on the car. I didn't even notice it until i washed the car for the first time after buying it as it wasn't pointed out to me. There are no hard scratches on the car whatsoever! With a buffing i'd give it at least a 9 out of 10. I give the interior a 9.9 out of 10!
Ok so here's the run down.......
***Full dyno tune at Speed Inc as of 3/28/13
93oct pump gas @ 11psi.......700rwhp/595rwtq
110 oct race fuel used above 11psi....949rwhp/761rwtq at a relatively safe 22psi.
Engine....
11k'ish miles with only the last 400'ish on turbo. The car was run all motor prior to that. Previous owner tried to run n2o on it just before selling it to me over 2 years ago but the bottle pressure was too low and never got a decent result. The first thing i did when i bought the car was sell the nitrous kit. I've never run it and never been interested in doing so.
The motor was disassembled during the build and inspected and everything looked good so it was reassembled. Head studs were reinstalled, heads decked, long block assembled. 400'ish miles since reassembly. Has seen 18.5psi so far without a single hiccup!
TSP Iron 402 (Eagle crank & rods with -11cc Diamond pistons) Approx' 10.25:1CR
ARP head & main studs, ARP flexplate bolts, ARP balancer bolt, ARP rod bolts, etc.
Ported 317 heads (about 70cc) with unknown amount of port work done to them...likely stage 1 port job. .650" lift springs & Harland Sharp rockers. New LS9 head gaskets.
Vic Jr intake & rails, 6061 Elbow, NW 92mm T'body
Brute Speed/EPP Blower cam
AEI CNC low mount p/s alt mount with new Tough Stuff 160Amp Alt, P/C Black with polished Billet snout, pulley & fan.
TCI Flexplate
SLP balancer
Powder coated gloss black stock oil pan with -4 feed at filter location and -10 drain fitting welded to the front prior to coating.
Cooling....
Meziere polished electric water pump (55gpm street version) Just installed new O'rings.
Dual Derale 16925 2150 cfm fans each.
Griffin Radiator (slightly larger than the usual used by the FI guys).
Turbo Setup....
Originally a KYTP Truck Mani' kit. I never did find out the reason for it but the original owner had it modified to run 2 waste gates and push the turbo out from the motor a bit more, presumably to fit a much larger turbo.
Manifolds have a high temp black coating & use stainless bolts.
Remainder of the hot side is coated in a high temp bright silver (looks polished)
Cross over is 2 1/2" and as well as being coated, also used DEI heat wrap.
Down pipe is currently just a coated 90* dumped in the bay (NO fumes get in the car miraculously!)
*Turbo is a Garrett 47-88 T6 with a **New, just installed 1.23ar black high temp coated exhaust compressor vs the .96 that was on the car last year. Has a New blanket and uses a swivel fitting, braided -4 feed/-10 drain, aluminum flanges and stainless hardware.
3" aluminum cold side tubing to the Ebay 4" thick A2A I/C, 3" out and then transitions to 4" from just below the battery tray area to the T'body.
TurboSmart 46mm & Tial 44mm Waste Gates
TurboSmart 50mm BOV
All Vac/Boost lines run with the nice 1/4" nylon hose & quick fit fittings!
Every joint that uses a T'bolt either has a rolled end or a bead of weld around it to prevent hoses from blowing off. So far it has had ZERO issues up to 18.5psi.
Trans, Rear, Brakes & All Double Adj. C/Moly Suspension front to rear.....
FTI custom built 9.5" Billet Converter made specifically for this car.
Built TH400 trans with TCI RMVB, Trans brake, TCI deep aluminum pan, Ultra-Bell.
Lokar Anchor Tite dipstick
Huge Derale 16 pass trans cooler with 650cfm fan & -6 braided lines to and from the trans.
C/M driveshaft purchased through Speed Inc.
MWC 9" narrowed 3"/side, Strange Aluminum center, Strange spool, Motive 3.25 gears, Strange 35 spline axles, braced
MWC anti-roll bar, Long T/A, D/S loop, LCA's, PHB
Strange Dbl Adj rear shocks
PA Racing C/M front K'member, Narrowed upper & lower A'arms, QA1 Single Adj front coil overs
Strange Drag brakes front and rear. Rear is set up as singles now but i have the 2nd set of calipers & pads and braided line with T's so it's all there to convert.
2000HP Fuel system.....
Sumped metal F'body fuel tank ('93-'97 tank). -12 feed to the fuel filter & Magnafuel 750 ProTuner pump (Feeds 2000+HP), -10 feed to Y, -8 to the rails and out to the Magnafuel FP Reg and -8 back to the tank.
New Bosch 160# injectors
Wheels & Tires....
Weld Alumastar Fronts 15x3.5 (1.75" bs) with low mile Mickey Thompson S/R Radial tires
Weld Polished RTS 15x10 (4.5" bs) with Brand new MT 295/55/15 Drag Radials mounted 3/28/13
Interior & Exterior...
Wolfe Racecraft 6pt C/Moly weld in roll bar
Jaz poly bucket seats & covers (because they're Infinitely more comfy than Kirkeys lol) with crappy mounts i made but they work. Both seats still retain sliders.
Pair of 5 pt harness' (out of date for sfi but perfect)
Car has all 4 factory seat belts in place
Back seat is in perfect shape (skeleton of seat back was removed for a nice weight reduction)
Battery sits in the spare tire well with the shutoff just to the outside of it. All plastic is still in place in the rear.
BEAUTIFUL Dash, carpet, door panels, ceiling, all windows tinted, etc. Modified stock shifter to work with the TH400 with a 3rd gear stop welded in place.
VFN Sonoco Bolt on hood
AeroCatch hood latch setup
SLP modified front SS Grill
Custom badging by Emblem Pro's
***New Wolfe Racecraft parachute setup & used Stroud 420 chute as of March 2013
Electronics....
MSD Boost controller
MSD 2 Step
3 bar MAP
PLX Digital Wideband
AutoMeter Cobalt Boost gauge
AutoMeter Cobalt Trans temp gauge (works occasionally. has a loose wire somewhere)
Windows, locks, lights & remote all work perfectly!
Factory Monsoon system sounds decent yet but i swapped to a T/A power antenna for looks but have yet to run power to it to raise it for reception so currently, the CD player or the roar of the engine & exhaust are you only options for music! lol
***New shift light being installed this weekend (3/30/13)
What it needs.....
An alignment. After ditching the power steering, it now pulls to the right a bit. I would also suggest a manual rack. Currently, it's set up as many do with a looped stock rack and it's just too much effort needed imo but i've also never had a manual steer car before so perhaps i'm spoiled. Whatever! LOL

Here's the video of the first day i got the car back and to the track! Stopped by it on my way home. We drove it an hour to the track, adjusted the shocks and went right for it. I made 3 passes over the next 45 mins so it does pretty well at staying cool!
BEST PASS...... 9.06 @ 149 on 17psi
Like i said, it was Driven to and from the track! This is a shot of the 1.29 Sixty Foot!!

PM me with what you have and if it's doable, i'll give you a call then if that works? I'd be willing to do a partial trade for a sports car or a decent daily driver that gets 30+mph.
Anyone with trade offers, lmk what you have and i'll entertain the idea. Basically sport car & or daily driver. Worst i can say is no thank you. I'm willing to work with anyone if it's fair enough to both parties.
Thanks.
Dave

2013 is just a hop, skip and a "BUMP" away! Start that new year off right with a new toy!
* Some have asked if the car will do ok with pump gas and the answer is YES!! It would have NO problems running on just the 9# springs and at that boost level, it's run a 9.61 @ 141 on the base tune. My plans were or are, depending if it sells, to have a pump gas tune on 1 pcm and a track E85 tune on another. The car should have NO problem at All running in the 9.4x's on pump gas once it's sorted out and leaving on the 9lbs. Toss in the E85 tuned pcm and run well into the 8's!
