88 IrocZ G92 305/5spd Excellent Condition - Price Dropped
Year: 1988
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $7600
Mileage: 117000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): IN
Color: Red
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has other engine
This car originally had some rust around the fenders and quarter wheel wells, so I had new quarters and fenders installed professionally at a local shop. They also painted and clear coated the car the stock color. It looks fantastic and is very clean! The interior is also incredibly clean, and the drivers seat has one tiny hole. No cracks in the dashpad or dash. Rear seats are also very clean. Has the original trunk retractable shade/guard. AC and heat work just fine as well.
The underside of this car had been coated for many years of its life preventing the typical rust damage. There was minor surface rust where the undercoat had gone thin, so I spent a few days on a lift sanding and using POR15 to completely prevent any more surface rust. See below for a pic of the underbody. The engine bay has all of the original equipment and ZERO rust. If you're looking for a bone stock iroc G92 platform this is a great one!
More Information:
2015 New starter installed
2014 Includes a new Kenwood stereo headunit
2014 New front bowtie grille and clear turn signal lights
2014 New tune-up
2014 New fuel filter
2014 New fenders/quarters/paint and clearcoat
2014 New decal set
The not-so bad:
- The trunk has the electronic pull-down which commonly break. Previous owner broke it by accident. The trunk will close and lock manually but sticks up about 1/8inch because of the issue with the pull-down motor.
The car comes with a set of 4x 70's era firebird snowflake wheels and tires too. The PO used them as fall/winter tires in-case he took it out.
Please shoot me a PM or text @ 773-724-0861 if you have any questions or want more pics. PRICE DROPPED TO $7600 or best offer, but I'll consider anything reasonable so please let me know what you think! Located in West Lafayette Indiana (1 hour north of Indianapolis). I'd love for this car to go to a good home!

I have a soft spot for Irocs as that was my first car, but yeah, it is overpriced. It has too many miles and too many little issues to be a $9500 car, especially when an LS1 F-body with lower miles can be bought for that amount. Plus, sports car season is quickly winding down with winter right around the corner, so that is another issue not in your favor. My advice to you is to sit on it over the winter and fix all those little things you have listed, detail the engine and the underbody, and try again in the spring.

Back for spring, fixed a bunch of small issues, runs great and I drive it to work a few times a week! Will tighten ebrake within the next couple days, and will be bringing car to local shows for sale. Also forgot to list that it's a G92/KC4 special optioned car in the original listing, so it's been updated as well as price dropped to sell!

Bump! Hitch has now been removed, and I've taken care of the underbody surface rust (parent material was in great shape, it was only on the surface)! Also detailed the engine bay and it came out fantastic (pic above). I've lowered the price as well to try and sell, would like to move onto a new project. Throw me an offer!
