History
4th Owner, I believe. The previous two owners were very good friends of mine. I was actually there when it was bought back in 2002 by one of them. Both owners that I know personally took good care of the car and can vouch for its past, and present condition. It was garage kept and mostly only driven on the weekends. Clean, Clear title in hand.

-Trans fluid change (Amsoil)
-Diff fluid change (Amsoil)

Engine
-Tuned with EFI live. HP Tuners also included in the sale.
-Grannys LS Motor and trans mounts
-LSX engine, Shortblock out of a 2002 WS6 Trans am. 70,000 miles on the motor when it was pulled, Ive put another 3-4000 on it, so I would say 75,000 Miles total, Conservitively The factory hone was still clearly visible when the heads were taken off, engine is in perfect health.
-Ported/Polished 5.3 Heads by E.T. performance (very expensive and nicely done, not a generic porting job. Dyno numbers back up their claims.)
-LSM Custom Spec'd cam, Have a cam sheet for the new owner- Very much an NA cam, not optimal for boost applications, but still works with the Procharger just fine.
-Katech rod bolts.- Installed at 70,000 miles with the heads/cam
-JTR 1 7/8" Long tube headers with 3" collectors, ceramic coated black.
-3 Inch custom made dual exhaust with X pipe to Hooker chambered mufflers, beautiful shape and sound.
-Mocal Oil cooler sandwich plate with 180 degree thermostat and oil cooler with -10 SS braided Lines.

Interior
No cruise control or AC, everything else, including heater, lights, interior switches, ***** and buttons work just as they should. Center switch panel has switches for the ignition, fuel pump, electric fan, interior lights and an extra, all labeled. It also has the starter button, which is very satisfying to push. All switches and circuits are fused and relayed properly and tucked under the dash out of sight. The ECU for the engine is mounted and secure in the passenger side kick panel area. Manual steering rack works great, no problems with parking or at low speeds at all, and the steering feel is amazing. Most plastics and interior pieces are there and in good shape. The center dash area has a guage pod with the Autometer guages installed. Carpet is in good shape.
-Chromoly 1 5/8" 6 Point rollbar, Professionally installed and TIG welded. Painted black. Stiffened up the entire chassis very nicely
-Corbeau Seats with sliding brackets
-Corbeau 5 Point harnesses. All belts installed correctly/legally
-Momo Suede steering wheel and adapter
-Custom made switch panel with Ignition button
-Battery Relocated to bin behind drivers seat, new 1/0 cable ran throughout car and to hidden cutoff switch behind passenger seat for security
-Radio installed but not wired, speakers removed
-Autometer Oil Pressure/Oil Temp/Water temp/Boost/ guages
-AEM wideband AFR with digital guage
Power adder
-Procharger D1SC with 4.1" pulley installed, 3.8" pulley included. Clocked correctly for oiling, less than 1000 miles on entire Procharger setup.
-Procharger vertical flow intercooler with 3" piping
-Procharger Race bypass valve
-A&A Corvette dual tensioner bracket setup for 6 rib belt. (no slipping)
Exterior
For being a car built in 1987, its in FANTASIC shape. As I said earlier, I know the history of this car personally going back to 2002. The previous owners from that point on were very good friends of mine. The chassis itself has ZERO rust. Probably thanks to the factory undercoating Mazda put on, But also in part to the fact its been garage kept and maintained religiously. The exterior was painted a few years ago, I would give the paint a 9/10. It has a couple knicks in it, but overall I doubt you will find an 87 in better condition. The underside has remains of the sticky undercoating in places but for the most part is clean and rust free. The subframes were taken out at the time of the swap and powdercoated black and the engine bay was painted black with POR, I swear by the stuff, its liquid powder coat.
-Repainted Sunrise Red 3 years ago, Very nice overall, was done by a professional body shop, (not macco) couple scratches and chips now, but not noticeable.
-AWR rear fenders, Blended in perfectly. Doesn't upset the factory body lines at all (IMO) and will fit 315's in the rear
-CCW Race Version classic wheels, 3 piece, 17x9's in front and 17x11.5" rear. Have multiple barrels (inners and outers) to make them different sizes if wanted. Centers powder coated black, outer lips repolished and new hardware installed 2 years ago.
-Kumho XS tires with less than 1000 miles, 245's front, 295's rear.
-Unknown lower front lip, fiberglass
-Auto latching hood pins
-New windshield 3 years ago
-Side mirrors painted black
Cons
-Speedometer doesn't work
-Radio isn't hooked up, no speakers
-Belt squeaks sometimes on startup, goes away quickly
-Passenger side window motor is weak. Still moves, just slowly
-Sunroof inoperable, could easily be fixed
-Radio surround cracked
-Sunroof has bubbling under paint, will be fixed before the sale.
Overall
OK, So if you read through all that you probably deserve a pat on the back. I believe I listed/remembered most of the major stuff, but I may have forgot some things. The general idea is that not much on this car hasn't been upgraded/modified/replaced/refreshed at some point, Its the complete package. Everything on the car works just as it should, Minus the few things I listed. The car has been LS swapped for almost 6 years now, the Procharger was added about 3 years ago. Before the Procharger the car made 460 hp/440 ftlbs to the tires, on a mustang dyno, running 93 octane. After the Procharger was added the car made 580 HP and 500 Ftlbs on the same dyno at 7 psi, running 110 octane. Its unbelieveablely fast, and will spin the 295's through the first 3 gears if you want it too. But its also very useable power if driven correctly (and carefully). Before the Procharger was added I took it to Milan Dragway here in Michigan once and it went 11.60's at 127 mph on street tires, with a terrible 60' time. Ive havent been back to the drag strip since the Procharger was put on, but I have done an open track day with it at Waterford Hills Raceway and it preformed awesome.
Why Im selling
-Its simple, I don't drive it enough, nothing more to it. A few years ago I started road racing and doing time trials in my Subaru STI with NASA, and that has pretty much taken up all of my free time. Between racing 8-10 weekends a year, maintaining the Subaru and working at my job I just don't have the time to enjoy the RX-7 like I used to. It deserves to be driven and enjoyed and will make someone else extremely happy.
Price
-$17,500
Some people will say im asking too little, some will say im asking too much. The fact is that its a niche market car and difficult to establish a price for. I think its well worth the price considering how much money, work and development I have into it. So I came up with a number I would be happy letting it go to someone who would really enjoy it. The price is somewhat firm, but there's always room for some negotiations. Email is easiest to get in contact with me. Fox4life@gmail.com
$17,000 as is.
$14,000 as is, without the Procharger. Tuned on 93, 460 hp.
$13,000 without the Procharger or CCW's (I have a set of similar size ARE wheels to replace them with)

I am guessing by the reason your selling that your not interested in trades but I figured I would throw my GTO out there. It has AC and all the creature comforts
