car is no longer for sale

Time to put the car up for sale again since now its 100% complete and ready to drive/race. This is a turn-key car and anybody interested can come and see/hear and eventually drive it (if money is in hand). A lot of people know the car on here and a few seen it in person and can vouch for the car. The car ran a best of 9.90@139.xx with a shitty 1.5 60ft, short shifting and pulling into second on launch, dial it in and its a easy low 9sec. car.

The car itself is more drag then street but can easily be driven on the street as i have about 900-1000 street miles on it. Its a little loud inside since it has no carpet and all rod-ends on the suspension but can still hear music playing on my phone while its in the cup holder, lol. All lights work besides turn signals, and backup lights and no horn. Again, drag car on the streets with plates and insurance, headlights, tail lights and brake lights.

For those who are interested then i highly recommend reading/browsing through the build thread as that will tell you more then this post ever could. This is not your typical "build", its as solid of a car you can get with pretty much the best parts money can buy. PM me or text is usually faster and easier. 708-473-nineteen nineteen Asking $18k

https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...hootin-9s.html

Heres all the info i know, its gotta be at least 95% of it...

Car...
1994 z28 with zero rust
Burkhart 8pt chromoly cage
Car has been lightened a whole lot.
Every unused mounting bracket has been cut off or drilled out, no rear bumper support, cut fender support. Basically everything everyone does for a drag car. Has stock front seats for comfortable street driving. No rear seats, no rear sail panels, no head liner etc BUT still have all interior pieces to go with. Car has a ton of fab work done to it from the turbo kit to mounting tabs to a ton of odds-n-ends stuff. Nothing is just "laying there", its all mounted and secure for street driving. Has VFN wide sunoco pin-on hood with MidWest Chassis hood rails.

Engine is a stock bottom end lq4, unknown milage but was completely tore down, block was hot tanked by AES and they also installed new cam bearings. The main bearings still looked really good so they were reinstalled back in the location they were removed from to keep proper wear uniformed. ARP main and head studs, ARP rod bolts. Basically the baddest stock short block you can build, lol. I have over $1000 in just hardware to reassemble it back together. Has a turbo cam in it, valley cover has (2) -10 AN bungs welded to it for catch can that's mounted on fire wall. Double row timing chain, TSP ls6 oil pump, TSP push rods, ls6 lifters, ls1 oil pan and pick up tube, front cover has a -10 bung welded to it for oil drain, race EWP, ATI balancer with pinned crank for it, stock 317 heads, PRC extreme valve springs, new valve seals, while disassembled I cleaned every valve so heads basically look brand new, Vic jr intake, 2" carb spacer, 6061.com elbow, NW 90mm TB, 80lb flow matched injectors, UMI solid motor mounts, block drilled to accept a stock fbody alternator and bracket.

Transmission has:
TSI built th400 rated for 2000hp, RMVB w/ t-brake, just came back from getting rebuilt/freshened up so pretty much brand new with 3 miles on it as of right now (untill i drive it more on the street, no passes on it yet)
Hardened input and output shaft
hardened sun shell
red alto clutches and drum machined for extra clutches
LSX specific bell still in date
catch can for vent tube
Vigilante 3800 converter
Cheetah shifter
Tci flex plate
ARP flex plate bolts
BMR th400 crossmember
All -AN fittings with black line
Huge Trans cooler (forgot make/model but its the biggest one they sell, lol)

MWC fab9" with filler neck and back brace option

Awesome car man! So much time into making everything just right. After reading through your entire build thread and all the $/time you have into this thing that price looks like a steal for somebody wanting a car that can haul the mail. Very clean car... GLWS!!!

More than worth the asking price. I hate seeing builds like this being sold so quickly... Though, recently marrying my wife and having our beautiful daughter, I understand priorities... Best of luck with your sale. It was an inspiration for me and I'm sure many others.

If this was Facebook I would "like" both of these posts, lol. But as you said priorities change and as well I don't have a wife or kids, my needs/wants change. The car is a handful to drive and I'm kinda done with it. A nice 6sp vette is in my future, nothing like going a 100 mph and hucking a quick right turn whIle banging gears!

Lol sounds like we should have just made a trade before I sold my c5 z06 a few months back! It was a blast to drive fast and around corners, but I just didn't like the 6-speed like I thought I would. It doesn't have that feel off the line.. Cruising around wasn't near as fun to me and I HATED taking the car in to the city in stop and go traffic lol. Although the car looked like sex and the interior was 10x nicer than my fbody I still enjoy this car more... If I could do it again I would have bought an auto FRC and put the procharger on it with a built tranny!

Bumping thread as the car is now 100% back for same and ready to drive and race. Nothing is needed and just buy it and go directly to track and race. Start of the season so who needs a car to go race with?
