Its a few hundred dollars from what I researched. They do all the import paperwork, you just take the title to your dmv and register the vehicle. If your not to far from the border, I would just drive the car down. It wouldn't make sense to ship it due to the cost unless you are across the country

Not positive, but i believe there would be a gas guzzler tax based on US EPA mpg rating also. Have not yet found a way to confirm amount, only that it is different than any amount that would have been paid when purchasing the same vehicle new in the US. Anybody know where to get more details? The site you linked to requires a VIN to provide a quote. Thank you

I did some research, there wouldn't be a gas guzzler tax. The 2004 models are exempt

Thank you very much, I enjoyed the car very much as a daily. Kept on top of all the maintenance. One of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. Not looking for any trades at the moment but thanks. Life's priorities have changed so just looking to get something a bit more practical and fuel efficient. Definitely going to get back into one of these cars but most likely in a few years. Cheers brother

Awesome!!, the rear end is perfect. Rear end is solid No play or leaks what so ever, Diff is original, I daily drive the car, never tracked it. Mainly a cruiser but sometimes I do get on it from time to time. Its Hard to resist the urge lol.

original diff at 120k? Very nice makes me think that people just really beat on those rear ends to break them so frequently. I'll be checking this post often

Yes sir, and not a single issue with the rear Diff. Could be because my last summer car was an 03 Cobra so when people use to ask me about the rear end on the V. I usually chuckled and said you don't know what rear end problems are until you drive a stock 03 or 04 Cobra. I have been on countless long trips with the V and never a single issue. My only gripe with this car is the fact that they don't come with a spare tire and run flats instead.
