I started the car and had boris look at the fuel pressure when it ran in the garage it was bouncing back and fourth pretty high and we didnt know why, I said screw it Ill just pull the car out and put it on the other side of the garage. So then I asked him to help me put the hood on before he leaves because I couldnt get any other help. Car ran for about half an hour outside. Fuel pressure was still fluxuating from 50psi to like 90psi, it was a brand new fuel pump unit, after 15 mins the pressure started setteling right at 52 psi which seemed ok I snapped the throttle a few times and it went right back everytime, so I shut it off. During the car running I was looking under and above the car for leaks (any kind) didnt see any, I told my mom I was going to put the car on the other side of the garage, I started it up looked at the pressure it was right at 52psi,
I was half way in the garage then heard a poof noise and fire came from under the hood, I grabbed my fire extinguiser to lift the hood and put the fire out, but I couldnt grab the latch to open the hood because flames were comming from there, so instead of it being another scene like before I just put the car in neutral and pushed it away from the house ran over to grab my water hose and some fireman that was off duty saw it he saw me running to my car to try and put the fire out and he tackled me because he didnt want the car to explode in my face so I laid on the wet grass in my yard and watched my car burn to the ground.
The kicker is I dont have any insurance on it, all of my other vehicles had automated bill pay, (in which they just took the money out of my account) because I hate writing checks, well this one didnt for some strange reason. I guess she said I didnt specify that when I started the new quote I didnt request that. I guess people who know me know that I have had a lot of vehicles and every last one of them had automated bill pay but this one didnt. IDK
The reason why it happened I think is because the fuel line blew off my fuel rail and sprayed onto the valve cover, even though after argueing with many people how sketchey the line was, I broke down and bought a brand new line and instead of single clamping the hose like I did on the sketchy one I double clamped this one thinking I could enhance safety. I took pics the car is in the garage right now, I am deffinately going to scrap it. It didnt burn to the point of chappmans because the back is still ok, the transmission doesnt have any heat except where the shift boot is, I went through all the gears they seem fine but all in all its deffinately fucked. frames ok. But I am just going to put on all of my fourms 1000 for everything if you even want it, this includes the tires, wheels, my other crap, if not omni source and I will be making reservations!! LOL

Yeah man, Im not selling anything from this car... Im throwing on the heads and cam along with some of the suspension parts on my TA. Ill get ahold of you when shes ready to rock. You can beat the **** out of it as much as you like! Sorry about the loss dude
