Here is my old ta and the first day I bought it.

Bought a lot of pieces from many different people!! it adds up alot!!



It was for sale on ls1tech, some really cool people drove from KANSAS for the car!! I traded a once good friend of mine shell for shell, salvage title98 transam for clear title99camaro z28, I still miss my ta!! It makes me sick sometimes thinking about it..




As you can see it was SHELL FOR SHELL !! If you look in the backgrond the camaro is in the garage!!
Then I got this car

Me and another buddy of mine rebuilt a brand new ls1block, because my dumb *** broke a arp head bolt in the stock block that came out of my trans am so i drove 3hrs away to get the block from a performance shop, already to go! I installed fresh bearings, cambearings, ls6 oil pump, ls6intake, I had .010 taken off the heads, the heads had a 3angle valve job with a grind stone, valves were clean, so I replaced everything except the valves, I used a whire wheel to clean all the valves.





The old cam bearings, a teacher of mine showed me the difference between the old cam bearings and the new ones which was why that one is open he hit it with a hammer and it instantly snapped open, the ones i have are solid!!




Heads had a mild port job by a teacher of mine that kinda specializes in porting heads, I paid him to do this!





As you can see this motor was first built for the trans am, I made it basically street/strip motor



Motor made 383/398 tqe on 40lb injectors and real ****ty tune


I sold my 40lb injectors cause I needed money to pay something and I put the stock 28lb ones in and it made 405/415 tqe on same crappy tune, I have the paper just not on me right now for proof!!



Ok where was I oh yeah the camaro, so basically I traded my trans am for the camaro just because of the title, never really cared for camaros but i am an fbody fan, would prefer corvettes.
I went to walmart bought some scotchbrite and some black spray paint to make it look really nice, ehh it came out ok. LOL







Bought brand new custom oversized carpet



Had speakers installed by a professional car installer
2'12 kicker comps, 550.2 kicker amp, 1farad cap, all running on 0gauge whire. I have recipts to prove the speakers was just purchased last year, and since I only have 4500 miles on the motor I havent really broken the speakers in either, the front and rears are infiniti for extreme clarity of mids and highs!!

First day after 3months of mis crap ordered, its 97% done





If I do get this sold another buddy of mine owes me he will fully detail the vehicle for me, he owes me, long story short in the trans am we went out, he got wasted threw up in my car, cleaned it out but the smell never left!!!



I have a walboro 255 fuel pump and the main rubber hose inside the tank was kinked so I dropped the tank and I am just going to get a steelbraded line, and I found out the hard way that my 98 trans am and a 99 camaro dont like each other when it comes to the electrical aspect so I just bought a pcm and whiring harness for the camaro so everything reads properly, this is the farthest I have driven the camaro was to the car wash it was a total of 1.2 miles from my house round trip!! LOL

are you kidding on the price? You can get a 20,000 mile 02 SS for 15k.

 

I would like to see any stock 02 SS with 20000 K race me vs what I got. My motor has maybe 4k max on it and tranny was rebuilt 3 months after I bought it from a gm dealership by Aamco transmissions cause I didnt know how to do it 4 years ago and I have a max of 10K on that, I have recipts after recipts after recipts to prove that I have ALOT of money in making this swap from the ta to camaro, and I am still buying little stuff because the previous owner screwed me over because..... well lets not get into that. some was nubie purchases but mostly everything I bought was brand new, I never believed in buying used parts!! so yeah the chasis has 72K but everything else is tastefully done with perfection!!!
Its a H/C car, arp bolts, ls6 oil pump, new chain, ported heads, redone head work, springs, rods, gm gasket, I put down a decent amount of power the guy I had tune my car just put it at a base tune (which I paid for as well) lived 2 hrs away and i trusted no one but him to touch my car, he died in a car accident 2 months later, but he knew the car could do over 430rwhp and I knew it too, I just never had the chance to have him do what he needed to do!!

That is a HIGH asking price, Ive got a built camaro and asking 13k and barly getting hits, you MIGHT get 10 out of it, you never get out what you put in man.......

 

yea dude thats a high price. mods are worth crap when re selling a car espically a garage build
