Beautiful TA, but I think I'd spend the 35k on a Vette lol

Absolutely no idea what these things are worth.
I'm a dragracer only, no stock stuff knowledge.
He claims he just saw one sell for $42,000, that had 2400 miles??
He thinks the collectors edition, black wheels make it worth a fortune??
He doesn't hang around on the computer so I offered to help.
He just bought a new big *** bus RV, and now his garage is packed.

Thanks for the comments, I'll pass them on.

unfortunately there are plenty of those cars out there.... it's true that the mileage is low but it's about $10k high but there are other pipe dreamers:

why dont you people that arent interested get the hell out of the thread, he said he would pass it on that people with no money think that it is too high on the price.. leave it alone now..

as for the price, if you find the right buyer it very well could sell at that price, unlikely but id just knock off a few grand, it will leave you some room to play with..

GL on sale.

it doesnt sound like he needs the money too badly, so he probably isnt interested in dropping the price too much

Thanks for the back up. Totally agree about jack ***'s butting in.

Actually, he definitely doesn't need $35,000. The bus is loaded & awesome.
I just added some wiring for his fancy satellite, home theater system & was very impressed.
He has been planning on getting some fancy Mustang for awhile.
He saw the report about the other car selling for $42,000, when looking for some Mustang info.
His wife is in poor health & has a hard time getting in & out of the T/A anyway.
He knew I was doing some spring cleaning.
So figured he would see what happens, instead of having 2 cars his wife can't get into anymore.

Thanks again, he's on the way to Fla for 8 weeks, so I'm sure it's not worrying him too much.

Just checked the link, 200 miles on the convertible is nice. For an all stock car.

Free bump for another sweet CETA! These cars definately are not "everywhere", but $25K is prob a better asking price.

Beautiful car. How much did they go for new in '01-02? Around $35k? That's losing money after inflation ($43k) and/or considering putting $35k in a safe annuity fund since '01 ($50k+)....if his main intentions were to buy a collectible and sell it later for a profit. Not even factoring in the cost of storage, maintenance and having to look at it for 8 years and not driving a fun car b/c you didn't want to rack up the mileage. At $25k selling price, it would be a huge loss.

Storage was never an issue. He owns 14 warehouses.
He has the room, but it is getting crowded with all the trucks, trailers, motorcycles,
snowmobiles, ATV's ect in the units he keeps for his stuff. He wasn't trying to keep mileage down.
He is not a small guy & with his wife's issues, they just couldn't drive it as much as they thought.
It was not an investment, he was tired of waiting for some special Mustang that was supposed to come out.
So he bought this thing, to have a highway toy for them to play with on Sunday's.
No big deal, thanks for the replies.

Now if someone would buy some of my stuff. I could use some extra racing money!!
