Default 1989 Camaro Iroc-z - H/C/I 6.0/T56

Hey Everyone

Im finishing this car up this week, and im really looking to get into a 4th gen.

Ive owned this car since Aug '06, I bought it as a Solid, but weather iroc. Had no rust damage, but paint was weathered, interior was dirty, and engine ran like crap.

Its come a LONG way from that, but i just cant shake my love for the 4th gen's, and im looking to move myself into one, and procharge it.

Im asking $10k for it (obo of course, ive got more then that in my motor swap alone), id be willing to trade for a '98+ Camaro or transam, Must be LS1. M6 Prefered, and id really like an SS or WS6. Looking for one in good shape, good paint and t-tops are a +++. Prefer a lower milage car, mod's dont mean as much as i plan to FI the car.

Im willing to deliver the car anywhere in north america, for the cost of fuel. Decent deposit obviously would need to be given before i take my car to California, so i dont make a trip for nothing. OR, im willing to meet at Pearson International Airport (YYZ) in Toronto with the car. Its an ex american car, i have all documentation to import it back into the states.

This car was on display @ Speedorama '08, @ the toronto Automotive Building, where it took Runner up in the "Altered Restored" Category, i have the award, and the mirror was signed by chip foose (Starting to wear off, but its still visible)

It was a factory LB9/A4 car, T-tops, iroc-z package.

The A/C Has been deleted and heater is not currently functional, so its essentially an HVAC Delete car, however id be willing to make it all functional for the buyer, if interested.

Alright, so here's a list of what ive done to the car in the past 3 years:

Exterior:
-Mint Bright Rally Red Paint (Front was freshly resprayed a month ago due to an engine crane chipping paint)
-17" Speedline WS6 Wheels

Pioneer Head unit

Pioneer 4" Dash mount speakers
Ultrasuede headliner
Ultrasuede hatch extension
Ultrasuede speaker covers
Hurst leather shift ****
Pushbutton starter with "Secret Anti-theft arm" (Will explain to buyer upon purchase)

Engine/Driveline:
'04 6.0L
-MS3 Cam
-TSP Chromoly Pushrods
-LS2 Timingchain
-Ported & shimmed oil pump
-PRC stg.1 LS6 CNC Heads
-FAST LSX Intake (78mm)

-12" LS1 rear brakes (Hawks pads, brembo rotors)
-LS1 E-brake system
-Custom Panhard

LS1 Swap Specifics:
'00 Fuel tank
3/8" Hardline -6AN Feed to rails
Custom Mounts
Double hump crossmember
Custom Wiring harness with engine bay mount fuse box
LS1 Fans & Rad
Custom CAI
85mm MAF

Think that covers it, Here's a shot of the car from last year, and an engine bay shot when it had the 5.3L in it last year. Its been completely re-done and decked out for this year.

I know theirs a TON im forgetting, ive got WAY too much money invested in this thing.

Car will be done by the end of next weekend, and will be dynotuned a couple days after that.

Here's a few of i took yesterday of its current shape. Just finishing up the interior, and ive got headlights on their way to me:

Dude keep that car its awesome...you'll be disappointed going to a fourth gen. I want your car bad but I need a car with air and I'm in North Carolina so I don't see it happening

I do, if i keep it. Id just love to try something different.

If it doesnt sell, or i cant find another car that id trade for, ill put the procharger into it, and keep it.

Interior shots will come tommorow night.

Their was 5k miles put on it last year with teh 5.3L, this year, ive got 0 miles on it so far.

Did you build the motor yourself or was it a shop job

I work @ Champion Motors (sponsor)

Our head mechanic assisted me with the assembly to ensure it was all done perfectly, and all the specialty tools were used.

Oh man, I was just thinking I wish someone had an LS1/M6 swaped into a 3rd gen to trade for my car, cause I want a roadcourse/autox/fun street car. I have a 68 C10 that will be my drag truck (eventualy). But I dont suppose you would be interested in a 2000 Z/28 with 87k miles on it? Its not perticularly clean or anything but a well maintained fully loaded leather interior street car/bracket racer. Here it is at a local event (wingedwarrior.net) pulling a 12.21@109.7mph with its new Yank converter last saturday, and winning the best ET in my class for drags.

That may be the coolest car I've seen this year. I dig it and I'd buy it if had had 10k to throw around (I'm in sales and the economy isn't putting a ton of wind in my sails). I think you might regret selling this car.
