Nearly 100%. The only aftermarket parts on it will be cometic head gaskets and drag bags. Oh...and I'll be leaving the brake upgrades and 160* thermo as well.

 

so..... stock cam, stock manis, stock catback, stock intake, stock tranny? is it already demodded, or will you be taking it apart?

btw - sounds like you got rid of the stripes. my g8 loves them though.

 

Tranny has a 3600 stall in it right now and it's the only thing left that I plan to uninstall. Otherwise the tranny is stock.

Stock heads, stock cam, stock manifolds. There is a magnflow cat-back on it now, but I plan to take that off tonight or tomorrow.

The stripes were killing me. I had to get them off of there and finally broke down to have the hood roof and trunk lid repainted. Looks like you got the best G8 color available. Stryker blue is definitely awesome in person.

dexcool for coolant? i take it when you did the cam you replaced all the gaskets?

 

Dexcool for coolant and freshly changed as part of the demod. Always had Mobil 1 synthetic changed every 3-5K. New tranny fluid 5K ago.

Replaced the front cover gasket when i did the cam originally, I kept the same one on the demod as it was still in pristine condition. Head gaskets are Cometics, so I cleaned them up and reused them on the demod.

I can take some pics of the engine bay as soon as I get it 100% back together. I still need to put the stock LS6 intake manifold back on. I planned on putting the stock airbox back on it, but I have a hardcore intake I can leave with it if the buyer wants it.

I was planning on recouping some of the money I still owe on it by selling the aftermarket parts, but if you wanted the cat-back to stay on I can work something out with you separately, or just add $500 to the price of the car whichever.

 

i'm gonna talk to my bank on friday and let you know. i'm just looking for a pre-approval figure. i also have someone coming to look at my grand prix that day.

If you mean I have it in hand, no. The bank still owns it, but it is not a salvage title and has never been wrecked if that is what you meant instead.
