02 TA NBM M6: Needs paint. $6600 KY
02 Navy Blue TA WS6 (Rebuilt/salvage Title)
LS1 98K miles
6 speed/dark grey leather
Lid only car
Never tracked or abused. I have never even raced the car on the street.
No tune, still has skipshift
Still has stock clutch
I have replaced:
Two rear tires replaced; due to mileage on older ones (6K miles on new ones).
New battery
Alternator
Driver’s side window motor
Drilled rotors & pads
I have owned this car for a little over two years. I bought it from a friend who had just bought a new car, and needed to pay off a note. I had big dreams for the car, but like most ended up back in graduate school. Since then I haven’t really done anything besides maintenance to the car. I use it as my full time daily driver and it has never let me down.
The car was salvaged in VA when it had 35K miles on it. The previous owner bought the car from a salvage auction in 2004, and had it repaired. I know the hood, drivers fender, bumper cover and drivers door were replaced. Neither the frame nor air bags had any damage. The car was repainted the factory color when fixed.
When I bought the car 2 years ago, the paint still looked fresh and pretty good. Within two months, a spot of clear coat started to peel on the rear quarter panel. In the past two years most of the car has started to peel and fade. The biggest problem areas include the hood, driver’s door, and driver’s rear quarter panel. I thought about having it repainted at one time, but cars really no longer interest me. I have kept it this long due to it being dependable and it gets pretty good gas mileage. Car runs and sounds really strong to be stock.
What it needs:
Paint
CEL light is on due to bad passenger cat
Drivers headlight fixed. The gear is stripped causing the loud noise when going down.
Drivers door needs panel put on better. After the window motor was replaced, the glue started peeling.
I paid 10K for the car in June of 07 with 73K miles. I owe $6600 on the car as of today. I can give you the number of the previous owner if you would like. I am asking what I owe and I believe it’s a fair price. I currently live in Richmond but my family lives around Ashland. Sorry I cannot take trades. Thanks, Nick

Sorry for the picture quality. I had these sent to my email before looking at them before they were on the computer. It was an overcast day but you can tell where the paint is messed up. Please ignore the date on the picutres as well. If you would like certain shots, let me know and I will try my best to get a different camera to take them.

sad to see a car like that but I wish I had the money to buy it and then repaint it myself. I love NBM. Too bad someone didnt paint it right the first time. Bump for you!
