Default Viper Steel Grey WS6, 397 ci LS6, only 23k!!!

This is an original 2000 Trans Am WS6, initially black but professionally repainted less than 2,000 miles ago by Monday Chevrolet down in Houston. The current paint is Viper Steel Grey with a pearl clearcoat and looks absolutely amazing! The exterior is in immaculate condition, not a single door ding or scratch! The engine is an aluminum block LS6 that displaces 397 cubic inches built and installed by Allan Futral. With less than a thousand miles on it, the power plant is practically brand-new and embarrasses much larger superstrokers. The oil has been changed just recently with Royal Purple Racing Synthetic, the NGK TR6s are brand new, the battery is a brand new Optima red top and all four tires have over 85% tread left. The exhaust is loud and scares small children at idle! If the exhaust is too loud, we can easily swap in some Borla XR-1 mufflers to quiet things down considerably with no loss in power. The cam has a great lope to it but is much smaller than you think and is entirely streetable. I have recorded 30 mpg on highway trips with this engine and have not had a single problem with it thus far. Futral stands behind his work and has been turning out amazing Gen 3 engines for several years now. Unfortunately I am in a financial crunch and must sell the car, but my loss is your gain. The car is basically brand new in every way! Here is a quick rundown of the modifications, over $20,000 total invested:

Exhaust:

Grotyohann 1 7/8" longtube headers *VERY RARE*
Custom 3" mandrel bent dual exhaust
Dr. Gas X-pipe and clearance tube
Dual Dynomax bullet mufflers and turndowns

Intake:

BG ram air
MTI clear lid
Z06 85 mm MAF
Custom bellows
FUM ported and polished TB
Ported LS6 intake

Engine:

ATI superdamper
Ram clutch
Fidanza billet aluminum flywheel
Mcleod adjustable master
4.125” bore Ross pistons
Eagle rods
Offset-ground stock crank
Katech oil pump
SLP double roller timing chain
resleaved LS6 block
FMS stage 3 6.0L heads
Crane 1.46" dual valve springs
2.055/1.60 8 mm valves
ARP head studs
Cometic .054" MLS head gasket
custom length .080" pushrods
FU2 Cam (will release specs to buyer)

Fuel:

SVO 30 lb/hr injectors
255 L/hr fuel pump

Suspension and Misc.:

Custom LS1 edit tuning by Futral Motorsports
Eibach pro-kit
BMR tubular K-member
BMR tubular subframes
BMR relocation brackets
BMR adjustable PHR
BMR battery relocation
BMR tubular LCAs
Poly tranny mount
Poly motor mount
Pro 5.0 shifter
Flameball shiftknob
Driver and Passenger Corbeau Forza seats
Autometer Carbon Fiber water temp gauge
17X9.5 and 17X11 Fikse FM/10s

The engine made 517 rwhp and 490 rwtq SAE at Thunder Racing's dyno with less than 10 miles on the motor. With an LSX intake and some more tuning I have no doubt that the motor will output 550+ rwhp. The car has also been tastefully lightened, retaining what I feel is necessary for safe street driving (airbags, front bumper, door beams etc) while still reducing mass through lightweight racing rims, tubular k-member, seats etc. If the racing seats are not to your liking, several people will swap straight up with stock leather seats.

I am asking $23K obo.

Nice car. Just curious, how many miles on the car (other than the motor). Also is it still the stock 10 bolt in there?

Only 30k miles total on the car! Stock 10 bolt is still in there, not a single problem from it so far. The car has never been launched hard so I never saw a reason to replace the rear.

Stock 10 bolts are no problem even in street driven cars with regular tires. Even street cars with 500RWHP.

That can't happen with street tires with that much power. Street tires to me = non-drag radial of any kind.

With that much power you probally cant even dead hook with any kind of drag radial that fits are car's.
You would need like a 415/20/15 to hook that car up dumping the clutch.

Every time I see that car I'm aw striken. Can't believe it's still around. Good luck to you man. I've been sitting on mine waiting for a new home for months now too. I know it's frustrating.

You've gotta admit though, if you're going to be stuck with a car, it may as well be that one!!

I still love seeing that car. Good luck, and if I hit the lotto this week, I'm on my way to your house with cash.

Does this car still have a/c? What was removed when you lightened it? Also just curious, aren't you supposed to let a motor break in for 500 miles bfore you dyno it and take it in the rpms in general??
