98 Z28 $7500 stripper w/ 67K miles
This is a new thread because the old thread here has gotten to be 3 pages.
1998 Z28 Camaro
-Navy blue metallic
-67,XXX miles
-Automatic
-2.73 rear
-t-tops
-grey cloth interior (no rips or tears)
-no power options (stripper car)
-standard options... power steering, power brakes, abs, A/C, tilt wheel, rear defogger
-runs and drives great
-motor is strong
-transmission shifts smooth
-in great mechanical shape
$7500
Car is located in Danville, VA (southwestern VA on the NC border)
Modifications:
-tinted windows
-flowmaster exhaust
-custom stereo (2-12"s, 2 amps, eq)
Problems:
-The driver side rocker panel has been pushed in where the front of the door meets the fender and has the front bottom edge of that door a little roughed up.
-The wire that attaches to the rear window (for the defogger) has popped loose. This is a $7 fix. You can buy the windows tab kit with the glue at most parts stores, but I haven't fixed it yet. FIXED (3-14-05)
-The car is a 98 model so it has some scratches and rock chips but not bad...
-I noticed the other day that both rear quarters have dimples in them in the same spot on each side?? I hadn't noticed them before. I guess they have always been there. They are not as bad as they sound. You may be able to see them in the pics, I tried to get good shots of them.
-The passenger side mirror glass is cracked (I may have another mirror)
-The wheels are in fair condition, one of them is a little scuffed up.
I would rather under-estimate the car and have someone buy it and be happy, than have someone drive down to look at it and say that I mis-represented the car. It is a great driving car and very good looking in my opinion. The only reason I want to sell it is that I am getting the itch for a 6 speed car. It has always had mobil 1 full synthetic on oil changes. The car is very mechanically sound. The car is very reliable and gets great gas mileage.
If someone is serious about the car my brother runs his own body shop, so I could have the door and rocker fixed for a couple hundred dollars. I have not fixed it yet because it really doesn't look that bad to me as it is, and you don't really notice the damage unless you know it is there.

When you open them in windows media player adjust the brightness because the lighting sucked.
I have a zip file with 25 pictures that I took yesterday. I cannot attach it due to its size. Let me know your email address and I will send it to you. It is around 3 mb. I will attach a few of them. The rest of the pics are over the 100KB limit.
