Eddie shows ZERO posts.. all he does is troll the classifieds on this forum. He does the same on ALL LS1 boards. He does not contribute to anything on this forum besides haggle and complain about the prices being too high .. why is he still here?
Good luck selling the hawk.. of course the price is high but take it to a REAL car auction. IT will fetch what you are asking if not more.
I sold my 2000 SS for $15,000. It had 74k on it at the time of delivery. I had probably 20 people saying they would buy. I stuck with the first serious response and got the asking price. I could have gotten more had I went with the best offer game or eBay.. the market is there just not on these boards all the time.
Good luck with the sale!

I may end up dropping the price after awhile. The cool thing is that I am in no "financial" hurry to get rid of her.
So time is on my side and I will wait for that perfect buyer. I may end up de-modding the car and keeping the mods for my next f-bod in the future instead of re-buying everything again, just so that I can drop the price back down.
But for now, I will probably take some other pics and re-list it back on EBay again and see what happens.

It dyno'ed at 318 rwhp and I think 332 rwtq. I will have to check my dyno sheet.
The car hasn't been dyno'ed with the current mods.
I got a photo-shoot next weekend with the car, so If you have anymore questions or need some other shots of the car let me know.

I mean c'mon .. a flared nostril hood gives it respectable seriousness?
But since I do have over $30k to spend, I can barely bring myself to buy any F-body as they are kids cars to me now.
However, I miss my 2001 Camaro SS, thus I will buy a $14-$16k 2001 SS to modify in the tradition of NASCAR as I still have the "badly bitten bug."
Right now I'm going to call this guy and see what he wants for his 2002 Z06 with 11,000 miles that even the high bidder corporate buyer didn't continue to bid on.

You and everbody else paid $30k-$40k for these cars.
Now they are getting half price at best.
But you need to come to terms that the allure of these F-body LS1's is gone.
Nobody knows why.
I showed you low mileage SS's that are still getting $25k-$30k.
Nobody knows why.
I heard a strange story from a dealer friend of mine that they will never be worth anything even in 20 years.
He had a 2001 WS6 with about 10k miles and said he got out of his for $19k last October. However he is known for telling tall tales.
If you're not getting offers over $18k thats the proof of the market for these.
I even emailed this guy and told him he was high and won't even get one bid.

He gave me the same story you just did.
Even this guy with the 3000 mile Full On SLP SS might have to take whatever someone gives him.

My opinion is that you need to come to terms and cut your losses and do the de-mod if you really need to sell it.
