F/S/T '70 Dodge Dart
As sad as it is, I've just lost interest in my love, and I'm looking to do something new.
'70 Dodge Dart, Original Swinger,(VIN LM23HXXXXX) Original 340/4 speed car (Has boxed rear framerails) Non-numbers matching
Engine:
'70/'71 Steel crank 340 short block + .030 Overbore
"X" casting heads, mild P&P work
Edelbrock LD340 Dual plane intake, Port matched to heads
Holley 3310 750 CFM Vac. Secondary carb
Mopar Perf. Electronic ignition upgrade with "Orange" Spark box & New distibutor
MSD Super Conductor Plug Wires, NGK Race V Power 4 plugs
Mopar Perf. .509 "Purple Shaft" cam & supplied MP lifters
Dynomax Coated Headers, 3" Exhaust w/ 40 series Flowmasters, dumped before the axles
Mopar Perf. Cast aluminum Valve covers & Air Cleaner
Car runs STRONG.
Driveline:
A833 4 speed trans
8 3/4 Rearend, 3.23 Posi, Fact. 31 spline axles *NEW: Axle bearings & seals*
Body:
Solid and straight AS CAN BE
3 Stage paint, Chrysler Dark Green Metallic done C/O Tony Gellenbeck, Newport carstar. I cannot stress this enough, THIS IS SHOW QUALITY PAINT!!!!! Very deep, very clear, and has TONS of shine.
Painted Bumblebee stripe, no stickers here.
Standard Dart trunk lid
Shaved front side marker lights looks very clean
All chrome+emblems are immaculate, car has always been garaged
U.S. Indy Slotted mags, 14x6 rear, 245/60/14 tires, 14x5ish on the front, 195/75/14 tires
Interior:
Deluxe Cloth interior (Not just a big vinyl bench), orig. back seat, front recovered in Chrysler New Old Stock (NOS) Additional rolls of NOS material can be had with the car
Bench seat (Very rare w/ 4 speed)
Rallye dash
AM Thumbwell radio
Carpet is ok, some stainage, I personally would replace it ($100 drop in preformed from ACC)
No floorboard rot PERIOD
Autometer Sport Comp 3 3/8" 8K RPM tach
Autometer Sport Comp 2 5/8" (big ones) Gauge pack with Elec. temp & Fuel level, Mech. Oil pressure
Chrome B&M T-Bar shift handle, with button for Jeg's Line Lock
Overall, I'd give it an 8.5/10
Other doo dads:
Subframe Connectors
Original spare tire
Jeg's Line Lock
Extras:
Set of '71 Date coded Rallye wheels (Powdercoated with stainless trim rings)
Orig. exhaust manifolds, Valve covers, Exhaust tips, air cleaner, & Intake
This was only a fair weather car, METICULOUS maintainence, Always had oil changed with QS Semi Synthetic High Horsepower blend.
Oh and heres some pics: (NOTE: back tires for the shot are different)

I know, It's a stretch to try to sell it on a GM specific website, but If I could find the right person with an F-Body to trade for it, I figured it was worth a shot.
Bump it up.

The one outing I made to the track (made 2 passes) with the car resulted in a 14.125 @ 101MPH with a 2.36 60'. I have a race car, so I didn't make a habit of taking it to the track, or I would have at least tried to solve the traction issues. My guess, with some stickies, it would probably be a mid-low 13 second car with the 3.23's.
As far as power, I really have no idea.
