Default WTB Z28 01-02 6M ASR hardtop in NewEngl

Maybe I ask too much. Looking for a fairly clean, low to average mileage (less than 50k) 2001-2002 Z28 (or SS). Must have 6M, ASR (traction control), hardtop, rear defrost. Preferably not red. I'm in central Massachusetts so close by would be nice. Typical intake/exhaust mods are fine but I'd prefer the LS1 innards to be otherwise untouched.

I would rather not have the RS wing/body appearance package.

Fyi, my last car was a 97 Z28 LT1 6M ASR hardtop. Ordered it myself. Time to give the LS1 a try.

Thanks.

Default ASR = traction control

Acceleration Slip Regulation. Traction control. That's what it was called on my 97 Z28.

Default nice car 2001stripper

Nice car 2001stripper.

My 97 also had very few options:
- roll up windows
- rear defrost
- manual locks
- cloth seats
- power driver seat (my only luxury)

Do you ever miss the rear defrost?

I thought it might have been traction control. Thanks for the compliment. I would sell mine to you but it does not have ASR or rear defrost. Stripper models are the best

Start buying Hemmings Auto News every month. You will find what you're looking for in there. They usually advertise the best of the best. You have to step up and pay the $, but you'll find it there....WJ

Your car is almost a perfect match for me, just missing the 6 speed. I looked at your pics and the blue top and mirors look great. Beautiful car. Good luck with the sale.

Yea, it was a great match other than 6 speed. I bought it to build for pure drag, Thats why I wanted the Auto, and the Hardtop for the extra stiffness, and slightly lighter. I wouldnt even begin to guess how much it would be to swap mine over to a 6 speed.

I think your asking price is good too. Not the greatest time of year to sell a Z28 though. If you can wait until spring I think it will sell easily.

I see that you've had an LT1 before, that was the last car I owned. Mine was a red 94 with alittle work done. It was a total beast, except it was an automatic. I was upset with myself when I saw how much fun a stick could be with one of these cars so I bought the Black one. These cars are alot of fun.
