With the Ford 302, the typical weak point is the block itself. Some hold a lot of power well, some don't. This block has been O-ringed about 5 months ago.
I have seen more big-power blocks split than big-power internals go. Your mileage may vary.
Saying that "forged pistons are needed for the turbo," which is what I'm assuming you meant, is not true. It would be like saying "a 12 bolt rear end is needed to launch with slicks" in reference to an LS1. Some LS1s break 10 bolts very easily, some don't. A guy I know in greensboro has ran 6.9s in the 1/8 on the stock 10 bolt.

Okay, are you interested in purchasing the car or are you just wanting to have a discussion?
If you are just wanting to talk, please go to www.corral.net/forums or turbomustangs.com/forums and tell everybody that you must have forged pistons before you put a blower or turbo on a fox body mustang. Feel free to come back and report your findings here.

Wow nice mustang, and Musky_ss there are plenty of people running sts kits and ds1c/ps1c S/C on stock LS1's that dont have forged pistons and they are running fine so I dunno what the hell your talking about. Forged pistons are nice if you want to crank up the boost but at 8-9 pounds they arent really needed as long as its tuned correctly and has enough fuel. TTT for ya though on a sweet ride!
