Cool 1973 Corvette Stingray T Top 350

My ol man is selling his corvette. This car was bought from my cousin about three years ago and since then we've done some restoring on it.

Everything done to the car is fresh. Its gets driven maybe once every two weeks. Its a great driver car.

I completely gutted the inside of the car to try to fix some things and make it more comfortable. I layed down some heat matting to keep some of the heat off of you in the summer. It works really well

The gauge pods in the car didn't light up and the housings where kinda rusted up, so I took them apart, sanded them down. There painted with a rust oleam paint and then a nice gloss. Basically they all have fresh paint, and the rust is gone. I put all new gauge lights in it, so now they all work.

I wanted to put a nice decent system in the car, so I started with what I had from the car. 2 Kenwood 4x6's like brand new, 2 Kenwood 6x9's like new, and a Lightning audio Volt amp that was also like new. I tested everything and it was all in great condition. So I used it in the build. We wanted to upgrade the headunit with a CD player. So we purchased a nice Alpine that has 60x4 out on it. Its a 7893 model.

here's a pic of the new gauge pod, (had to buy one for the Cd player) custom painted gauge pod and Cd player:

I built a custom encloseure for the rear of the car. It housed the two 6x9 Kenwoods, the Lightning Audio amp, and a Sony Xpload 8" sub. It was all hooked up with a Lightning audio amp wiring kit.

Here's a pic of what I came up with:

After that was all done and I was putting the car back together, my ol man was nice enough to break one of the kick panel covers. Well the new ones where really expensive. So I figured that instead of spending that money towards a new stock kick panel, I would take alittle and buy a componet set and mold in a kick panel from the existing ones. So I got a Kenwood Exelon 6.5" componet set. This is a really nice setup too, it was really compact and light weight. Worked out really well.

Here's what I came up with there:

We went ahead and got a new center console top and bottom for the car. The old ones where in pretty rough shape.

Here' s a pic of it:

Thats about it for the inside, we did take the seats down some and get some of the rust off of the components there.

The motor was in great running condition when we got it. The only problem it had was that it ran alittle hot if you drove it for a long distance. It was never run hot hot! When we got it, we flushed the system really well, several times, and now it no longer has that problem.

Its running with mobil one synthetic, and just got new AC Delco plugs and Moroso wires. Car runs great.

Its not the original motor, the motor is out of a 69 Camaro. Its a 350 and its basically the exact same motor. So everything works fine

It does not have any AC or heat, we didn't really mess with it much. Pops didn't want to spend the money for it cause we really don't need it to much around here. So it doesn't have it. It is a AC car and you can add it on if ever needed. We did put in new vents, so it looks like new there.

The car has been painted and the red is not the original color. The original color was Burgandy. It was painted by a shop in FLA. To my knowledge and my cousins, its always been a FLA car, and always garage kept.

The car has all new weather stripping!!

I repainted the wheels to a nice aluminum silver, and the tires are brand new BFG radials.

THE PRICE IS 14,000 OBO

If your intrested, you can PM me, email me at BLK01SS2001@yahoo.com

I would prefer you deal with my dad about it, since its his. So I'll provide you with a number, or provide me with one and he'll call ya.

Here's more misc pics:

You can tell by the cars I've owned that I build fun cars, this is no exception. I do things right and you can feel confident that this is a good one.

Thanks,
Tre
