i recently bought a GM High Tech magazine build up car "The Grape of Wrath". i have about every bolt on you can think of. from full BMR suspension including panhard and torque arm, slp subframe connectors and driveshaft loop, slp 3.42 gears and locker, slp cold air intake, slp lt4 driveshaft, slp manual fan switch, SSBC big brakes in front, hooker shorty headers to full 3" SS corsa exhaust, edelbrok performer heads, edelbrock cam, edelbrock 52mm TB, madz28 computer tune, lt1 scanmaster, built hi pro tranny and shift kit, 2800 stall, comp cam timing chain and gears, 17" topline bullett wheels with nitto 555 drag radials, brand new (less than 50 miles on it): meziere HD water pump, MSD opti, underdrive crank pulley, trick flow pushrods, AC compressor, starter, fuel filter, spark plugs and taylor wires and coil. the paint is fairly new but the stripes have been pulled off, the interior has custom two tone leather done by "Popular Hot Rodding" magazine. im sure i forgot some other things. thats just off my head. oh yeah its an auto with 130k on it. but only about 8k on the everything done too the car. the car was bought by GM high tech at 120k on it then they did all the work to it. let me know if you have any questions at cwilson3@bak.rr.com or 661-378-4859. the only reason im selling this is that my wife said i have to get rid of it before i can buy my dream car, a 70 chevelle. wanting around 5500 obo for it, thanks chuck

did you put the heads and cam in it? I'm pretty sure when GMHTP had this car it was a bolt on only car. Are the heads stock from edelbrock or are they ported out? What sort of valvetrain parts were used? What are the specs on the cam. Also if you could get some additional pics, especially of the interior, it might aid in your sale.

im located in bakersfield, ca. they put in the edelbrock performer head and cam. i took them off and got them port matched on the intake side and put the correct push rods in.
cam specs are:
advertised duration 286 degrees on intake and exhaust
duration at 0.50 lift 218 degrees on intake and exhaust
lift at cam .350 inch
lift at valve .525
lobe separation angle 112 degrees

I love your car, read everything on the buildup. If you lived closer we could maybe talk about a trade for my 70 chevelle and cash, but I live in Wi , which sucks . Thanks for your time , and again nice car . Later Les
