Hey, I dont post on the site much, but have been a viewer for awhile. Selling my 1990 Chevrolet 454ss pickup. The truck is located near Chicago, about 20 minutes south of the city. 25,000 original miles, Power steering, power locks, power windows, Turbo Hydramatic 400 3 speed transmission, 3.73 positraction 14 bolt differential, Onyx Black, locking gas cap, with many modifications including:

-Stock 454 shortblock and heads
-Edelbrock Camshaft (Installed at 20,000 Miles)
-Edelbrock TBI Aluminum Intake Manifold (Installed at 20,000 Miles)
-Vortech Supercharger - 7psi of boost (Installed at 20,000 miles)
-MSD 8.5mm Ignition wires
-Heated O2 Sensor (Changed at 14,000 Miles)
-Upgraded GM Medium Duty, high flow, spin on Fuel Filter

-New Oil Pan, Timing Cover, and Valve Cover gaskets
-Lowered 2” in the front 4” in the rear with Belltech Components
-Original BFG Comp T/A tires
-Tinted Windows
-Pioneer CD Player
-Autometer Tachometer on Pillar
-Autometer Boost gauge
-Custom Roll pan
-Hidden Hitch located behind license plate
-Electric trailer brake controller
-Air Shocks
-Sylvania Silverstar Bulbs in Headlights and Fog lights
-Polished Aluminum Differential Cover with extra capacity
-Extang Full Tilt Tonneau cover (Installed July ’06)

-1992-93 454SS bedside decals

Engine Oil changed every 3,000 miles, Transmission fluid changed at 20,000 miles, Differential fluid changed at 22,500 miles, Belts replaced at 20,000 miles, Distributor Cap, Rotor, spark plugs changed at 20,000 miles

Ive never had it on a chassis dyno. I estimate it makes somewhere around 400hp and over 500 ft/lbs. at the flywheel. I know it doesnt sound inpressive for a blown big block, but these motors were weak from the factory and the TBI isnt the greatest. Not many throttle body trucks run in the 12s. Esp. with stock heads, i beleive this is one of the few.

I made three passes with it at the track on a hot, muggy, 85* night, and it ran 12.96 @ 106mph.

Not too bad for a reliable, daily driver, that weighs 4525 pounds with me in it. It was built for reliablilty, towing, and everyday performance, and it fulfills that great. Doesnt ping or run lean (i had a wideband O2 on it for a while) and again is very daily drivable, i drove it everyday until the snow falls and then it sat till the salt was off the roads.
