No offense, but i don't recall seeing a 1998 (even with very low mileage) selling for 15-16K recently. I'd honestly shoot more into the 13-14K range. I understand the rarity of the 1LE, but i only see a Formula WS6 1LE fetching what you're asking, IMHO.

Good luck on the sale.

WOW - - - It is clean looking..., you can almost "smell" the new car from the pictures!

However looking at the data and the market (what cars really sell for) I think that you are a bit high on your asking price. It would need a "stated-value" insurance policy to match your price.

Good Luck with the sell.

Man your car is so clean! It looks pretty much brand new. The fact that it is so rare with such low miles I don't think you are to far off on your price. Just be patient. GL with the sale.

Me being a hardtop stipper z28 owner, i know how frugal the market is on hardtop and no power option z28's

I purchaced my 2002 1sc Stripper z28. This particular car sat for over 1 year on 4 different Chevy dealers showrooms. Nobody would buy it.

Truth is....people need power window, ttops, leather , cruise control, etc.

Our cars dont even have a leather wraped steering wheel, shift ****, or e-brake handle. They are subsituted with cheap rubber steering wheels!

Yes, your car is nice. I personally love it.....however you and i are unlike the vast majority.

Good luck......because 2002's with no options barley bring $10,000 with less than 20k miles.

Being a 1999......its going to be tough. Good luck once again!!

Yea, I bought a new 99 hardtop with power options and cloth and no monsoon brand new for $20k and they couldn't wait to sell it to me. If I didn't already have my 99 TA with 29k miles on it, I'd be very interested. Of course, if someone offered me the right money, I might become motivated. Bump.

please do not come to my ad saying it is a scam because I won't give my number to every tire kicker on the block. I asked him to give me a serious offer first before handing out my number. Why bother wasting time talking on the phone if its just some little kid who can only afford 9 grand?

Oh and bump bump

A/C was standard that year (and many other years)

My 1SA stripper car has only single CD Monsoon and PS Cooler. Other than that, it has ZERO options.

I love it, but was able to pick it up for a lot less than the seller orginally advertised. "Normal" people would realize it had crank windows, manual locks, no hatch release, no cruise control, no fog lights, etc. etc. etc. and pass on the car.

zerofear - you should stick with your price for a while and see if a hardcore enthusiast comes along.

Default Keep with it

I have a 98 1LE with 15K miles but I have lots of mods. I have seen 1LE cars go for 11K - 21K, but you have to find the right buyer. Not very many people want the lack of options. Hence why they only sold 99 of them in 98. I can confirm that they did come with AC as mine and the sister car both had A/C. No cruise, no t-tops, no power windows or lock, no remote rear hatch. Special bushing, power steering cooler, special shocks and you get one really good autocross car.

i am ridiculously surprised nobody wants this car. a 1LE will be a beyond collectible car in the future. esp with 15K!

Stick with your price, but if you really want it gone lower it a little

I was at a show yesterday in which a 20k mile 1990 1LE car was present and was recently purchased at $30k. Stick with it 0-Fear.

bump. I know someone out there would be happy to have this car. Thanks for the comments so far.

Edit: I have given my number out to so many people in the past and they all end up wasting my time. Most of them end up being high school or college kids who want to come pretty much steal my car for 8-9 grand. If your actually serious about my car and are able to buy it, then please PM me with your offer and location, otherwise don't waste your or my time. Thanks!

I find it odd how people complain about a high price car, but want a car with all options?

Personally, (though, im young, and broke, so im buyist) id rather a car that has no options on it. I deleted the a/c out of my iroc, i wish it had no cruise control, it has crank windows, but power locks etc.

My dad owns a 1991 Z28 that is a 1LE. What most people fail to realize is that the 1LE was meant to be a performance package. How many race cars do you see these days with cruise control, power windows, locks, leather steering wheels etc?

Why not get over the fact that it is optioned to be a performance vehicle and see that a car that is 1 in 10, is going to go up in value. That is a VERY rare vehicle.

If i had the dough, id be all over this, as im sure your sick of hearing.

Btw: I didnt see a pic of the RPO Sticker, may want to put a shot of that up

Bump for a down right beautiful car! It would be nice to see someone else on here realize what a 1LE car actually is. its not just a regular stripper camaro. Its much more
