Well the guy from Flint Michigan came down to look at car when I still have the LS2 403 in it. After bugging me to leave the motor in the car and thats how they wanted it! We took it for a ride and he was white as a ghost and said thats way too much motor for my wife to cruise!
I said what did you think when I told you the car had 600+ HP? That I was exagurating? At any rate he did not buy it for her because he didn't want to do the work to mellow it out or wait for me to do it.
So I sold/traded the motor to a friend for his low miles LS6 motor and put that with a fresh new built 4L60E and a 3000 stall instead of the 3600. This car for the every day person is a much better hot rod/show rod. The LS2 was borderline race car for most folks it was way too much!
With thats said I have made some of the changes I always needed to in the first place while swapping drive tranes. I had a custom aluminum fan shroud made for the 16" fan, replaced the catch can with a polished aluminum one for show, repainted under the hood, put in the Covans brushed aluminum Bezel with Autometer electric 160 mph speedo with odometer, 10K tach, 2 5/8" Fuel guage. updated pictures on racing junk of all but engine compartment those to come in a few days when I get the radiator and fan back with the shroud in.
