2000 Camaro SS 408ci Nitrous FS 528rwhp/564rwtq
Updates: After a deal fell through, I decided to relist. New information: The car dynoed at ProDyno 465rwhp/482rwtq and 528rwhp/565rwtq on a 75 dry shot. The car now comes with the dry shot installed ready to go.
$14,500 OBO. This thing needs to go, got a family to feed
Well, I have recently added my 5th kid to the mix and I cannot afford to take this beast where I would like it to go. My next mods would have been 9 inch, k-member, 300 progressive shot, and street slicks. Since I cannot do that for the foreseeable future and my wife would like hard wood floors, my baby, and I mean my baby is up on the block.
I bought her in 2002 with 13,500 miles on it. Since then, I have rung that up to the tune of 145,000 miles (I lived 50 miles from work most of that time). I started the mods with the stock 346 bottom end and got her up to 412/382. I then put together a 408ci iron block motor and the last dyno was 459/461.
At the beginning of this summer, I bought a local 408 setup and went through the engine to replace the bearings (I couldn’t run it without knowing “I” replaced them). At the time, the engine had ~500 miles on it. It now has about 3000 on her. I have been building racing engines for several years so you can be assured it was done correctly. It is strong – very strong. No traction AT ALL in 1st gear.
The current mods as I remember are:
Motor:
• 6.0 Iron Block
• Block bored .030 over
• Eagle forged crank
• H-beam rods
• Weisco flat-top forged pistons
• LS7 lifters
• Comp Cams chome molly pushrods
• ARP main studs
• ARP rod bolts
• 241 heads (Stage III hand ported, milled .020, 3 angle valve job, comp 918 springs)
• TSP Torquer v.2 Cam (232/234 .595/.598)
• Pace Setter coated long-tube headers
• BBK SSI Intake
• Custom fuel rails
• 42# Injectors
• Professional Products 85mm Throttle Body
• MSD Wires with covers
• Port MAF
• Racetronics upgraded fuel pump wiring
• Walbro in-tank 255lph fuel pump
• Custom catch-can setup
• Maybe more, I’ll add more if I remember
• ***** Forgot to add that you get HPTuners with it as well.*****
Transmission:
• Built T-56
• Bronze shift pads
• Billet keys
• Kevlar syncros
• Steel 3-4 shift fork
• Spec Stage 2 clutch
• Upgraded Master/Slave hydraulic assembly
Other:
• Slotted cross drilled rotors
• Red calipers
• Gauge pod cluster with Boost/Vacuum and Electric Fuel Pressure gauges

I cant believe you still havnt gotten rid of this car yet. I'd say a 12-bolt/9inch is the only thing keeping it in your driveway. For anyone that is interested in this car, I've seen the car in person and it is very clean. Bump for you.
