I am going to probably regret selling this car but , Here it goes.
THIS IS A 1990 MUSTANG CPE. IT IS IN GREAT OVERALL SHAPE AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY RUST. THE BODY HAS SOME DINGS AND DENTS BUT NOTHING MAJOR. ALSO THIS CAR HAS ITS ORIGINAL PAINT, NEVER CRASHED.
I HAVE BEEN A BEST OF 9.86, BEST 60FT TO DATE IS A 1.41 , AND BEST MPH WAS 141 .
HERE ARE SOME DETAILS OF THE CAR .
1990 Mustang LX Notchback with 77,000 original miles, solid body, no accidents ever, never smoked in
Original Oxford white paint with some dings and dents. It looks good and with a good detail will shine up nice. It is not perfect, but a 8 out of 10. There's minor surface rust under the car, nothing major.
Blue Interior with new Black carpeting
1996 Mustang black cloth bucket seats, 1998 Mustang GT steering wheel with functional Airbag
2003 Mustang Cobra 10th anniversary shift ****
Rear seat delete with black carpeting
Power Windows and door locks
Sony Xplod head unit with upgraded speakers
Fully functional Camaro gauge cluster (except fuel level)
Relocated battery with aluminum box and cutoff switch
New headlights and front turn signals, new weatherseals on doors, Z06 badges on front fenders
Engine-
2002 Camaro Z28 5.7 liter LS1 w/harness, LS1 block casting with notched stock pistons
Ported stock throttle body and Camaro mass air meter with high flow ends
MSD 8.5mm ignition wires, ASP underdrive pulley
Thunder Racing camshaft with 230/236 @ .050 lift, .592/.602 lift, 112 LSA, Comp Cams 7.400 pushrods
Thunder Racing/GTP Stage 2 CNC-ported and hand-blended heads with Ti retainers, dual springs, 2.02/1.57 valves
LS6 intake manifold,42 lb/hr MSD injectors
American Racing 1 3/4 - 1 7/8 stepped headers with merge collector and 3-inch X-pipe, Bassani BX cat-back (sounds great.)
Cartek tuning, makes 414 rwhp and 389 rwtq.
The Nitrous Works adjustable wet system, 75 to 200 hp with purge kit
Walbro 255-lph high pressure in-tank pump with -6 lines feeding fuel rail
No Air conditioning (but the evaporator box is still there)
New Camaro radiator and used Camaro dual fans, 160-degree thermostat.
Driveline-
2002 T56 “Race Ready” prepared by Rockland Standard Gear (650 lb-ft) with steel 3-4 shift Fork, billet keys, carbon fiber synchros OEM Hurst shifter modified for Mustang floorpan
Zoom Kevlar clutch w/billet steel flywheel, McLeod Steel master clutch cylinder
Reverse lights and lockout functional, Skip Shift disabled through PCM
Custom HD steel driveshaft with 3/4-ton U-joints, HPM driveshaft safety loop and subframe connectors
Ford 8.8 Rear with Alloy USA 31-spline axles, 3” Moroso wheel studs, Eaton 31-spline limited slip differential, 3.73 gears
Power steering and power brakes functional
Suspension-
UPR tubular K front crossmember with control arms and 175 lb-in QA1 coilovers
Maximum Motorsports Brake Upgrade (Stainless lines, Hawk pads, etc.)
Tokico Illumina struts and shocks UPR Chromoly rear control arms, Suspension Techniques rear sway bar
QA1 12 WAY ADJUSTABLE REAR SHOCKS
Wild rides 8 Point roll bar , Cam lock harness.
Wild Rides upper and lower torque box reinforcements
No front sway bar (I will give you one that you can reinstall)
Factory wheels with Nitto NT450 and NT555R Drag Radials (245/50/16 all around with 500 miles on them)
Weld Prostars 15x3.5 with skinnies and 15 x 10 with 28x10 MT ET Drag slicks
Note: The fuel gauge does not work. It is wired up but the PCM needs to be programmed to make it work. Also the gauge cluster came out of a Camaro parts car and reads 130,000 miles on it but the car has less than 80,000 as the original paint and windshield proves.
Best performance-
Best 1/8 mile is a 6.39 @ 112 (Nitrous)
Nitrous (200 shot) - 9.86 at 139.02 mph (1.41 60-foot)
On Motor – 11.21 at 122.05 mph (1.59 60-foot)
RWHP – 414 (approx 475 at the crank,)RWTQ – 389 (approx 447 at the crank)
Race weight – 2,874 pounds
Fuel economy – 25 mpg combined
I strongly believe that once the weather gets cooler this fall, this car will be at least two tenths quicker.
I am asking 14,500 for the car but am open to offers.
This is a steal for a get in and drive 9 second car .

wow that is exactly what i am looking for. to bad cash is low. open to trades? i have a nice 93 typhoon bone stock i was going to ask about the same when cladding gets back from paint. body is near perfect just painted, cladding is being painted now, runs and drives great needs maybe $100-$150 to be perfect all around. have stock wheels or can trade with 18" zr1s or 17" z06 wheels both have brand new tires and both wheels are almost new. it has a 2" cowl hood on it but i can put the stock hood on it if you want a more stock look.
