Family project car built as a hot rod for the Centerville, Arkansas drag strip street radial class. Generally on 1,000’, the car will run 10.0x to 10.1x in the heat, and 9.8x in good air. Best times were 9.5x on 1.6x 60’ times on slicks. Raced occasionally in 2006 (last year at the track). Garage kept since.

Custom Paint: Dupont Hot Hues custom paint. Gun Metal base (dark grey, heavy metallic) with Brick red stripe on hood. Ghost flames on doors. Aftermarket fiberglass custom hood.
Chassis completely re-wired from 1998 Firebird Formula to match drive train.
Engine:
- 1998 LS1 (I am the original owner)
- Thunder Racing 224/224/112 cam
- Comp Cams dual valve springs, titanium retainers
- Hardened rod bolts
- Ported oil pump
- Ed Wright custom PCM programming
- Never saw any nitrous
Transmission: 4L60E race built by GM Hydramatic. Rebuilt with new clutches in early 2006. Torque Converter: Yank Pro Thruster 9” 4,000 stall
Exhaust: Hooker headers, Jet Hot ceramic coated. Dynomax cat back muffler. Electric cut out
Rear End: Ford 9” with shimmed posi. 4:10 gears
Chassis: BMR adjustable LCA, PHR. Spohn torque arm. Box steel subframe members. 8 point roll bar.
Other: RSC 5-point racing harnesses on both front seats. Autometer tachometer, fuel pressure and transmission temperature gauges. Weld ProStar wheels. Significantly lightened (Removed heat/AC, Removed bumper frames). Will include slicks (on separate ProStar wheels)
The family grew up and moved out to start families of their own and my racing interests changed in 2006. However it still is a ball to start the car once a month or so and drive it around the neighborhood.
$7,500 OBO. Serious inquiries only. The car is in Little Rock, AR.
Also, 16 foot dove tail trailer available.
