OC_Z28, No the car was has not been sprayed. I have the Nitrous ready Denny's drive shaft to be on the safe side. I had planned to add heads down the road and wanted the ds to be stout to take a hard launch.

Bump for a fellow low mileage '02 Z28 hardtop owner. Our cars are almost identical except for color and I still have a stock cam. That's going to be a great deal for someone.

Great car. Looks like you can drive too! Are your times with the stock manifolds? I bet you will be in the 11's with the stock cam. I wish I had taken the Z to track more and gotten the launch down. I think I could have run 11.70's with a decent 60'.

Yup, stock manifolds. I ran that exact same number (within a couple thousands) one year apart. The first time was full stock exhaust with gutted cats and cutout and the second was stock manifolds and Y with gutted cats and SLP dual/dual. I finally broke the stock 10 bolt in Oct. 2005 and haven't been back to the track yet even though I put a 12 bolt in it in Sept. 2006. The headers went on in Nov. 2007 and the car went straight into storage and hasn't been on the road since.

Good luck with your sale. At the price you are selling it, someone will be getting a steal.

The Texas Speed 228R is a nice middle of the road cam. The tune is excellent you know the car has a cam, but it has very good manners. I picked the cam to provide good power and tq without having to rev it to the moon.
