This truck has been dead reliable for a daily driver to me for the last 3.5 years. With the recent upgrade of an overdrive transmission it gets 14mpg around town and got 24mpg on the 2008 power tour. The truck needs a heater core, i put one in last winter but its bad again... THANKS OREILLYS! The fuel gauge does not work and did not the day i bought the truck. There is still some wiring that needs to be finished to make the coolant and speedometer work with the recent trans change (had turbo 350). Truck now drives and runs like it came from the factory setup like this. Total blast to drive truck has roughly 72000 miles and the drivetrain has 20000 miles on it. odometer shows 54000 but was not working due to the TH350 trans being in the truck most of its life.
-3.5psi truck runs 12.4s on street tires
-7psi it runs 11.60s on street tire
-10psi, pump gas, and drag radials the truck has run 10.92 @127

So what are all the cons of the swap.. How about traction issues..? Cause I could really hurt some peoples feelings with that here in houston. And whats up with the headlights??
Up for trades???? http://houstonperformancedriving.com...ad.php?t=31333

If your truck was a year newer i would be all over it! Traction on street tires is not TOOO bad but could def be cured with a set of nitto DRs. If your referring to the headlights being slanted its because the clips that hold them in recently got lost when i had them out and was waiting on new ones to come in at out local Chevy dealership. They are now fixed

Damn it if you were in Arizona I would come look at it tomarrow and drive it home. But I just am unsure about such a modified truck with out being able to give it a once over befor I have to commit. If I change my mind I will be in touch. Good luck and nice truck..
