99 SOM z28 heads cam intake 480+hp Sale or trade
I am thinking about selling or trading this car to get another Trans Am preferably a WS6. The car is sunset orange Metalic in color with leather interior. It is a hard top car (NON T-top) The car has 108,000 miles on it. The paint on the car is a 9 out of 10 in My opinion it was repainted it used to be pewter but they did a good job. All of the door jams and every thing were done. The car is a very clean car inside and out. The A/C on the car blows ICE cold. The transmission in the car was just built (less than 800 miles on it) with Kevlar clutches, upgraded servo, kevlar band ETC.. The converter is a Yank Pt 3800 it was also recently re stalled by circle D and is still a 3800. I know I have to put an asking price so $11000 to start. I would rather do some type of a trade on a clean ws6 or maybe a 6 speed ss car. Or let me know what you have. I might be interested in a hybrid or conversion ls1 car 281-948-1280
Here are the mods the car has.
863 Ported and Polished Heads flow 300 @ 600 lift (the heads were done by Patriot)
Texas Speed Torquer V.3 Camshaft - 231/234 .643"/.598" 111 LSA
Comp Cams Dual Valve Spring
Hardened Chromoly Pushrods
25% underdrive pulley
It (NOW) has a built transmission done by James Lovelady (Trans works)
Yank/Circle D pt 3800 converter
hayden 30,000 lb fin and plate cooler with elec. fan
373 gears in the rear
Fast 78mm intake
Volant air intake set up
Ford motor sport 30lb flow matched injectors (equal to a 36lb injector)
255 lph fuel pump
New NGK tr6 plugs
New MSd wires
new Bosch 13111 02 sensors
3" true duals with a custom Built x pipe and single chamber flowmasters
pacesetter ceramic coated long tube headers.
Black ZR1 wheels 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear Tires still have lots of tread front and rear.
It was just dyno tuned by Gforce Motorsports in pearland Tx and I do have the dyno sheets for those who are serious. The car pulls hard all the way through the rpm range.
I finally took the car to the 1/8 mile track on 8/17/08 on just the regular sumitumo (not even drag radials) street tires. I only made two passes and the car ran a 7.65 at 92 mph with a 1.775 60ft leaving really easy at 1500-1600 rpm. Thats with a 300lb driver also. That would equate to a 11.90 in the 1/4 mile. If I would have had time to make a couple more passes it would have easily ran in the 7.50s-7.40s. With a set of drag radials this car will run 11.50-11.40s no problem.
Here is an Idle clip video of the car. Sorry no wot clip but it does sound very mean. You will have to copy and paste the link in your browser

Looking to trade for a trans am with a few less mods or an ss car. I would even trade for a bone stock car as long as it is as clean as mine but with fewer miles on it. Or I will trade for one with the same mileage as long as you will add some cash to the deal. Some one must be interested in a well modded car.
here are a few more pics of the car.

Not interested in parting out the car. I am sure they painted the car SOM because they liked the color just like every one else likes the color. The only part on the car that was not painted SOM was the engine bay. every thing else on the car was painted and done professionally by a Dealership. The Black engine bay actually looks pretty good. The engine bay is the only way you can tell the color has been changed on the car. As far as I can tell the car has never been in any accidents. If some one is serious about the car we can do a car FAX on it. This car is Clean in and out. I haven't personally seen many if any 99 Fbodys as clean as this car. You can ask around in the Texas section some of those guys have seen the car in person at local meets.
