2005 Honda CBR 1000RR for sale
Bike was built by Velocity Moto in Tampa at the end of 2007/beginning of 2008 with the following:
New Sete Gibernau paint scheme (Movistar/Telefonica #15) ($900)
New Arrow GP style full exhaust ($1300)
New BMC air filters ($130)
New Dynojet Power Commander ($325)
New Vortex chain and sprokets (down 1 in the front) ($180)
New Puig wind screen ($80)
New RC51 wheels ($650)
New CBR gel grips ($25)
New Pazzo adjustable levers ($200)
New HID headlights ($250)
New Integrated rear tail light/turn signals ($90)
New Competition Werkes Fender eliminator kit with LED illuminated plate ($150)
New Flush mount front turn signals ($40)
New stator (warranty – Honda extended warranty for 6 years)
Fresh black powdercoated swing arm and rear sets. ($350)
2006 front end, including the better 06 brakes (Stock seals were leaking, so instead of replacing seals, I replaced the whole front end. Worked a deal, so it was no cost)
New tank pad ($25)
New gas cap cover - carbon fiber ($25)
I just put a new battery in 11/23/08. ($200)
That’s ~$5000 in new upgraded parts alone, not including labor.
When cruising, the bike gets ~50mpg. When not just cruising it gets ~33mpg
~16k miles on engine, but only a couple thousand on everything else.
This bike is done, and needs only to be ridden.
More pics available upon request.
Bike is in Tampa, and the only reason I'm selling it is because I need money to finish a couple of projects that are more important than the bike.

Because I don't like my stuff to be like everyone else. I like to be unique. It's a clear title. When I bought it, it was black and bronze with a fur seat. Ugly as hell, but it was at a decent price, and I wanted one. So I bought it, and redid everything. It's an attention *****, for sure. LOL! Everywhere we go, everyone is commenting on it, at red lights, in parking lots, at bike/car shows. I even got pulled over once, because the cop wanted to see it up close.
